I love this episode! Seeing Aqua in his craft is amazing, showing that not only does he have the skills for it (even if he believe he doesn't) but he also understand the necessity of taking advantage of the tools around him is genius. Kana's scene sent shivers down my spine 10/10

Aqua finally gets to show off! That scene where he manipulates the environment to help the lead actress was such a "big brain" move. This guy is a master at reading the room. This show is so much more than just music. I’m hooked.

This episode somehow makes you appreciate the preparations actors make when they shoot. Aqua really showed off his skills which paved the way for Arima. The school setting is also great considering most actors/actresses really have to maximize their youth for showbusiness.

Watching Aqua set the stage for Kana to finally shine is so satisfying. The way he manipulates the set to get a real performance is genius!

This episode delves into the enchanting collaboration between Kana and Aqua as they join forces to bring a film to life, showcasing their talent and chemistry on screen.

Painfully real episode. Creative chaos, awkward energy, people trying their best in a messy situation. It’s uncomfortable in that “yeah… I’ve been there” way.

From the voice acting to the visuals, the light-hearted and comedy scenes are well-done, not too cringey or over the top but not lacking either. The introduction of new characters and the dialogues’ foreshadowing fit well with the story’s pacing.

What I love about Oshi no Ko is how accurately they depict usual events that happen in real life. And it’s mind-blowing how everyday dialogues that the characters have don’t fail to make you invested because of how well they shoot the scenes, lighting and camera-angle wise.

Continuing from the last episode, Aqua did a great job setting the stage for Kana. The reveal of her highlight was the best part of this ep. The art team never misses in these high impact scenes.

Very surprising scenes, and new characters introducing. Waiting some more action now this time. When they find the killer of their mother.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the rough midpoint of the season's eleven episodes, 'Actors' builds directly on the manga-based drama arc established in the preceding episodes, deepening Aqua and Kana's professional partnership and individual motivations. It serves as a crucial character-development bridge, refining relationships and thematic groundwork before the narrative pivots toward the reality dating show arc that dominates the season's back half. This is the kind of episode that pays off later — character dynamics seeded here become load-bearing as the stakes escalate.
