The look on the face of Shirahoshi when the sun hit her for the first time made me so emotional and the world felt so huge in that moment

The sunlight scene was such a big moment for the growth of Shirahoshi after everything she went through back at her palace

The way Stelly was acting around Garp and the giant fishmen was hilarious and he is still just as annoying as he was when he was a kid

It brings back so many memories to have Vivi back on screen, but it would be better if the show stopped relying on these long flashbacks to pad the time

Toei really dragged this one out with the fishman island flashbacks and it makes the reverie feel like it is taking forever to actually start

Stelly getting absolutely terrified by the Neptune family was the highlight of the episode because that guy is a total joke and deserved the scare

Sabo infiltrating the holy land as a guard is such a bold move and it makes the revolutionary army plot feel much more urgent now

I was so happy for Shirahoshi seeing the surface for the first time, but the amount of flashbacks in this episode was insane. It felt like I was rewatching the entire Fishman Island arc all over again instead of seeing the Reverie starting up. Sabo being there is cool and all but I wish the pacing wasn't so slow because I want more new scenes

The pacing is getting pretty bad with all these recaps and it feels like we only got five minutes of actual new content today

I can tell the revolutionaries are about to do something massive at Mary Geoise because seeing Sabo sneaking around in that guard uniform was such a cool way to end it

Watching the princesses talk about Luffy is sweet, but the amount of recaps in this episode is getting a bit out of hand

Shirahoshi blinking in the sun after all that time was just so pure, I literally cheered out loud for her! It wasn't just a win for the Neptune family, it felt like she finally got a taste of freedom, and that made me so happy for her.

Shirahoshi looking at the sun made that entire walk worth it and she deserves a chance to see the surface world after living in the dark for so long

Vivi and Shirahoshi being friends made my day because they are both amazing and it makes the world feel so much bigger

It felt so good to see Shirahoshi finally out in the sun, and that music really sold the whole experience for me, and even though people are complaining about all the flashbacks, seeing her reach the surface and bond with the other princesses made me forget about the recap stuff for a bit since they are all so sweet together

You can tell they are dragging this out with all the old footage and I just want the meeting to start already even if the princess reunions are cute

Toei really loves their re-used scenes lately and it feels like there was only five minutes of actual new stuff but Shirahoshi reaching the surface was beautiful

My eyes actually watered a bit when Shirahoshi wished she could show the surface to everyone back home and her smile was so bright under the real sky

Stretching this arc out with old clips of Fishman Island is annoying but seeing Vivi and Rebecca together almost makes the slow pace worth it

The Revolutionary Army making their move while all the kings are gathered is such a tense setup, and Sabo disguised as a guard is exactly the kind of chaos you expect from him.

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode continues the Reverie buildup, following the introduction of the Revolutionary Army's captains in the preceding episode, and shifts focus to the gathering of royal families and their political dynamics. Shirahoshi's surface-world debut serves as both a payoff for her character arc and a catalyst for tensions that will escalate as the Reverie officially begins. It's a critical connective episode that positions multiple factions on a collision course for the high-stakes political drama ahead.
