I couldn't stop laughing at Luffy calling her Branch and she just cannot help herself from shouting the correction back at him and it made a really intense chase feel so much more like a classic One Piece joke

Pound running at Oven even though Chiffon has no clue who he is was actually pretty heartbreaking to watch since the guy is just trying his best to be a dad for once

Sanji moving so fast that Oven did not even see the kick was the coolest thing he has done in this entire arc and seeing Chiffon get away safely felt so good after Oven was being a jerk

I felt so bad for Pound, especially when he was just trying to help Chiffon and she doesn't even realize he is her father. It was such a sad moment in the middle of all the chaos.

Oven is a total jerk for how he treated Chiffon and he barely felt that kick from Sanji

I thought the way Sanji speed blitzed Oven while wearing that tiny disguise was incredible and he did it so casually without even ruining his cover to save Chiffon. It makes me happy to see him acting like a hero again, and the way he helped Pudding finish the cake while Big Mom rampaged nearby was actually pretty intense, especially with the town watching

Sanji was moving so fast he looked like a blur, and seeing Chiffon stand up to Oven like that was great

Oven was being a jerk to his own sister so Bege showing up at the last second to help Chiffon really saved the day

Chiffon standing her ground against Oven after he tried to kill her was so brave and she really deserves better family than those monsters

I thought Luffy was in trouble without his haki but using Brulee to hop through mirrors is genius

Sanji moving so fast he was basically invisible while kicking Oven made me scream because it shows how much his observation haki has improved

You can tell how much Pudding cares about the cake mission now and her teamwork with Sanji is actually starting to look smooth

Finishing that massive cake and getting it on the ship felt like a huge win after all the stress of the kitchen scenes

I felt so bad for Pound when he tried to step in and save Chiffon because he just wants to be a dad but Oven is a total psycho

I am still laughing about Luffy using Brulee as a human shield to block Big Mom while the island gets torn apart, and seeing Bege arrive just in time to help Chiffon, even with Oven right there, was great

Woah, Big Mom's Ikoku Sovereignty attack was absolutely wild, I couldn't believe how much raw power she unleashed. It really freaked me out that she didn't even flinch when she nearly took out her own daughter, Brulee; it just solidifies how truly monstrous she can be when she gets like this.

Pound taking that hit for a daughter who does not even know him is the saddest thing in this arc

Luffy using Brulee as a literal human shield while Big Mom destroys the whole island behind them is honestly hilarious and such a classic Luffy move

Watching Sanji put on that little disguise just to kick Oven in the neck without being caught was a total blink and you miss it moment

That slow motion shot of Sanji coming in to blast Oven in the face was such an incredible way to show off how fast he actually is

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 859 comes on the heels of the grueling Luffy vs. Katakuri confrontation, pivoting away from that mirror-world battle to address the equally dangerous threat of Big Mom's uncontrollable rampage. This episode functions as a critical bridge, establishing Sanji's cake transport plan as the crew's parallel survival strategy. It sets the foundation for the alliance dynamics and desperate gambits that will define the closing stretch of the Whole Cake Island arc.
