This episode really knows how to play with my emotions. I’m sad that Chopper missed such an important detail and only learned about the most painful part. On another note, It may be a small detail but Dr Kureha is really a talented doctor. How she measures Nami's temp just by a touch is simply unbelievable. Though I got to say, geniuses are often insane.

I actually felt sick when those reindeer used their antlers to hit little Chopper and drive him away into the snow just for being different

Dr Kureha drinking wine and kicking Nami back into bed is such a chaotic introduction for a doctor and her fashion is kind of incredible

Watching Luffy and Sanji chase after Chopper with meat eyes while the poor guy is literally terrified was way funnier than it should have been

Those villagers shooting at Chopper when he just wanted a friend is pure evil and he did nothing wrong but try to talk

Nami speaking so softly to Chopper really got to me, because you can tell he really needed someone to just look at him without fear or hate for once

I actually started tearing up when those villagers shot at Chopper just for trying to be human and seeing him left alone in the snow after the reindeer rejected him was heartbreaking

Nami finding out she had a prehistoric tick bite was wild, and Dr. Kureha is exactly the kind of chaotic doctor this crew needs right now.

I really like how this episode balances the goofy stuff like Luffy and Sanji chasing the emergency food supply with the absolute trauma of Chopper being shot by humans. It is wild that he went through all that and still cares about those birds in the doorway. I just want him to join the crew so he finally has a real family

Wapol is back and eating trees now which is just weird but he seems like he is going to be a huge pain for the crew

That moment where he kept the door open for the birds even though he was freezing shows how kind he is and Sanji finally stopped making food jokes

My heart broke when Chopper called himself a monster but Luffy does not care about any of that and just thinks he is cool

The irony of a reindeer eating the human fruit and getting rejected by everyone is just tragic and you can really feel his loneliness in the snow

It was painful to watch the villagers shoot at him when he was just trying to find some friends, poor reindeer just can't catch a break.
