it made me so happy to see zoro using only one sword and still destroying everyone because that green flash in his eye was pretty terrifying

When Law and Zoro finally showed up to back up Bartolomeo and Luffy, I practically cheered, and Zoro just casually sliced through that bounty hunter like it was nothing, which really made me wonder how strong that guy *really* was if he went down so fast.

I know this is just filler, but seeing Law and Zoro finally show up made it worth the wait for me. Zoro basically carried the action by taking on Peseta while Luffy was busy, and the way he dealt with those sticky bombs was really cool. It felt a bit random when Kinemon appeared out of nowhere but his help was actually useful

You could skip this whole arc and not miss a thing but the tie in to the gold movie is a decent excuse to keep watching these for now

If you only watch for the main plot then skip this one because nothing here actually matters for the long run even with the cool sword stuff at the end

Zoro was barely in this, but the way he handled Peseta and those goons was the only highlight of an otherwise forgettable episode

The silver mine stuff feels kind of pointless but at least we got to see Zoro and Law back on screen for a bit

Things move a bit slow since it is filler but the way they animated Zoro during his attack actually looked pretty good

Watching Bartolomeo freak out over Luffy never gets old and his energy really carries these slower episodes while we wait for the real story to start again

Zoro fighting in the mine looked good for a filler episode and him cutting through those projectiles was cool

Zoro showing up with that green eye glint was just too cool and Peseta never stood a chance honestly

Zoro just walked in and ended that fight in two seconds and the way he looked with that green eye was insane

Even though the Silver Mine stuff is kind of slow, Zoro showing up to slice through those bombs made the whole trip feel worth it

Kinemon jumping in to help the group escape was a nice touch and it kept the energy up while everyone was stuck underground

I honestly thought about skipping this entire arc since it is filler, but seeing Law and Zoro show up to help the group was a nice surprise and made it more interesting, Luffy being so angry at Bill for lying to Desire gave the episode some actual weight even if it does not count for the main story and it is a decent lead into the movie too

Law and Zoro arrived at the mine at just the right moment and Zoro handling those sticky cannon shots was satisfying to see

It felt good to see my favorite swordsman back on screen and I liked how quickly he shut down Peseta and all that annoying sticky stuff

I have been waiting for Zoro to show up again and he did not disappoint when he took out Peseta and his sticky bombs with those sword techniques

I missed Law so much and seeing him back with the crew made me so happy even if it is just a filler arc

You can tell this is just meant to sell movie tickets but seeing Law and Zoro finally show up to help Luffy makes it worth sitting through the filler nonsense

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting in the middle of the anime-original Silver Mine arc, this episode follows the initial capture and escape struggles of Luffy's group and serves as the turning point where key allies join the battle. It bridges the earlier setup episodes with the climactic confrontations still ahead, making it the arc's momentum shift. As a filler arc positioned between major canon storylines, it can be skipped entirely without losing continuity with the main One Piece narrative.
