I am still shaking from Aokiji just showing up and freezing Doflamingo like it was nothing and Smoker really would have died if he didn't step in

Momonosuke is such a little brat for what he did to Nami and Robin and seeing Sanji lose his mind was the only funny part of that

Doflamingo thought he could just finish Smoker and then Aokiji shows up and freezes everything instantly and it looked so cool

Aokiji is such a mystery now that he left the marines and I loved that talk he had with Smoker about his true self. He still has that same presence even as a wanderer and it makes me wonder what he is actually planning with the underworld. Seeing everyone finally leave Punk Hazard felt like a big weight lifted too.

It was smart of Doflamingo to walk away after getting frozen because trying to fight Aokiji would have ended his whole plan and he knew he was outclassed

The start of the episode was amazing but the rest felt like a lot of running around and long recaps so it was a slow finish

I love how the music cut out when Aokiji appeared behind Doflamingo and the sheer scale of the ice made the warlord look small for once

Law and the crew finally getting ready for Dressrosa has me excited because Punk Hazard really dragged at points and I need a change of scenery

Seeing Aokiji show up out of nowhere just to stop Doflamingo from finishing Smoker was definitely the best part and it really showed how high the power ceiling is in the New World even if Doffy managed to break the ice and walk away plus it was funny seeing Momonosuke trick the girls and make Sanji so incredibly jealous

It was kind of a letdown how fast the Aokiji confrontation ended, especially since the anime added so much fluff of the crew just hanging out on the Sunny afterwards

Momonosuke is a menace for what he did to Nami and Robin and everyone calling him a lucky brat is right

Doflamingo just *shattered* that Aokiji ice like it was nothing, and man, that gave me chills, seeing his raw power again. It really hammered home how much of a threat he is, making him smartly back off and not push his luck against Kuzan.

Aokiji showed up at the perfect time and Doflamingo actually backed down from the fight. It was crazy seeing Smoker get saved like that and the ice effects were top notch

I felt so bad for Smoker getting handled like that again but seeing Aokiji show up to save him made the whole episode for me

Doflamingo walking away as soon as he saw Aokiji says everything you need to know about the gap between them and the ice effect was actually pretty cool

Aokiji froze Doflamingo so fast that the Warlord did not even have time to finish his sentence

The way Aokiji just stood there and told Smoker he is still the same guy really made me wonder what he is actually doing now that he left the marines and I thought the fight would be longer but seeing Doflamingo just dip out after getting frozen says everything about how strong the former admirals are

Kuzan did not even have to move to stop that killing blow from landing on Smoker. He is still a total powerhouse even without his marine uniform and he looked so imposing

You can tell Doflamingo was sweating even with that fake laugh while he walked away from the ice

I really want to know what Aokiji is up to now that he left the Marines because he still seems like a good guy deep down

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode serves as a critical bridge between the conclusion of the Punk Hazard arc and the beginning of the Dressrosa saga, dealing with the immediate fallout of Doflamingo's aggressive moves against the G-5 Marines. Aokiji's unexpected involvement adds a wildcard element that complicates the power dynamics heading into the next major arc. It establishes key tensions and shifting allegiances that will define the Straw Hats' path forward into Dressrosa.
