Poor guy saw Luffy and remembered the trauma from Arlong Park then just booked it. Watching the trio jump out of the bubble to face that Kraken was terrifying.

My jaw practically dropped seeing how easily the Straw Hats handled that giant Kraken, it really highlighted their growth and made me think back to much tougher fights like when they faced off against CP9. But man, Hody Jones appearing felt like such a sudden punch to the gut after all that lighthearted chaos; now I'm super on edge wondering how they're going to fight such a serious threat underwater.
