Sabo getting dragged back to that house was heart wrenching and seeing Ace and Luffy left behind made the whole thing feel so lonely and wrong

Bluejam and the nobles are literally plotting to murder an entire city of poor people just to look good for some celestial dragon and it makes my blood boil

The way the nobles talk about the people in Gray Terminal being garbage is so sickening and it makes you really see why Sabo wanted to run away in the first place

I hate Sabo's dad so much for forcing him back and those nobles in Goa are actually the worst for trying to burn down Gray Terminal just for a visit

The bond between the three brothers is the only good thing in this mess, but watching the terminal go up in flames while the rich people watched from their walls was sickening.

It is wild how much the Goa Kingdom nobles suck for wanting to kill thousands of people just to look good for some visiting celestial dragons

Whoa, when Dragon just *showed up* like that, it gave me chills! The way the wind just whipped around him while everything else was burning felt so intentional, almost like he commanded it to protect Luffy. I'm so hyped to see what his true power is.

I hit episode 500 today and honestly the stuff with the nobles burning the terminal is the darkest this show has felt in a while. Seeing Sabo forced to go back to his family just to save his brothers really got to me, but that brief scene with Dragon and the wind gives me hope that something big is coming for the revolutionaries.

Ugh, Sabo's dad is just the worst, I can't believe he'd pick a stupid title over his own son like that. Watching him play Sabo for a fool, it honestly made my blood boil, like, who does that?

My heart actually broke when Sabo looked so defeated getting back on that carriage and I just want him to be free with Ace and Luffy again

The way Sabo got dragged back to his father felt so wrong because that man cares more about his status than his own kid

Dragon showing up in the middle of all that smoke and wind was the coolest thing and you just know he is going to change things for Sabo

I still cant believe those nobles actually set Gray Terminal ablaze and seeing the kids run for their lives made my blood boil

The fact that they want to burn Gray Terminal just because a Celestial Dragon is coming shows you how broken this world really is

It is actually sickening how these nobles treat regular people like they are just garbage to be incinerated, and I really felt for Sabo when he found out about the fire. His father just didn't care at all and watching Ace and Luffy carry those boxes thinking it was treasure was devastating because they have no idea what they are doing or the truth about Bluejam

The sheer scale of the fire they set in the Gray Terminal is terrifying, and it really shows that the trash the nobles want to get rid of is actually the people themselves

Seeing Ace and Luffy run around with those boxes of explosives was too much to handle. They think they are helping but Bluejam is just using them to kill everyone in Gray Terminal

The nobles in this show are absolutely disgusting people. They really think burning an entire place full of people is just cleaning up trash for some visitor

I can't believe Sabo just bumped into Dragon like that and the way Dragon looked at the trash burning in Goa Kingdom was so heavy
ia_identity_501's avatar

I am still thinking about Ace using Conqueror's Haki as a little kid because it just makes his death at Marineford feel ten times more tragic and the fact that we have to watch them go through this fire and Sabo's parents being total monsters while knowing what happens later is just making me feel so empty inside right now

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep within the extended flashback detailing the childhood bond between Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, this episode escalates the Gray Terminal crisis as the Bluejam Pirates tighten their grip on the brothers. The preceding episodes established the trio's unbreakable bond and the societal rot of the Goa Kingdom, and this installment pushes those tensions toward a breaking point. What follows will bring the full weight of the nobility's conspiracy crashing down, setting up one of the most emotionally devastating sequences in One Piece's history.
