I burst out laughing when Luffy had zero clue who Foxy even was and it really captures how little he cares about those goons

Sanji was acting way too thirsty with Nami and the little raccoon girl and it felt a bit much even for him

The animation looked way smoother in this arc and the colors on Spa Island really popped compared to the gloom of the last island

That purple loser, Foxy, showing up again really had me rolling my eyes, especially since his usual antics are just so predictable. But man, the animation for his return was unexpectedly crisp and vibrant, almost making his tired tricks tolerable for me.

Foxy and his slow beam showing up again was just the most unexpected kick to the gut, I swear. My brain immediately went back to Long Ring Long Land, and I totally thought we'd seen the last of his ridiculous antics after that whole Davy Back Fight mess, but here he is, persistent as ever!

Brook hanging out with everyone was really heartwarming and he really adds a lot of life to the ship even when they are just being lazy at a spa

Robin and Nami in those swimsuits were great and it is just fun seeing everyone relax before the next big thing starts up

I honestly think the most hilarious thing about this episode was the animation error where there were literally two Zoros on screen for a second and it made me do a double take, because I thought maybe it was some weird spa illusion or something, but no it was just a funny mistake in an otherwise really smooth looking filler arc

Sanji was acting way too weird and his pervy side felt way too extra in this one even for him

Foxy is definitely a love him or hate him kind of guy and his return is basically a reminder that these guys are never going to get any peace even on vacation

Jumping straight into filler right after Brook joins the crew feels like such a buzzkill because it would be better to get back to the main story instead of dealing with Foxy again

Zoro actually relaxing on a beach? I almost fell out of my chair laughing at how rare that is! This whole filler episode of the crew just kicking back at the resort was such a breath of fresh air for me, and it looked surprisingly vibrant too.

Why is Foxy back again because seeing that face was a total nightmare and he really is like the Team Rocket of this world but way more annoying

I actually like that Brook is finally hanging out with everyone as a member of the crew and the spa setting is a nice change of pace after all that Thriller Bark gloom

Sayo getting kidnapped by Foxy is such a recycled plot point and the story really needs to get to the next canon arc soon

Honestly Foxy coming back is definitely a choice but the animation is weirdly good for a filler episode about a spa and at least we get to see Brook being part of the crew before the big stuff starts up again because the girls and their gem research plot is kind of uninteresting but the resort looks like a nice break and seeing them all together feels right

The Silver Fox popping up right when things were getting relaxing was a total annoyance and nobody asked for his return

Watching the Straw Hats immediately stand up for Lina and Sayo against Foxy actually made the confrontation worth it and Brook fits in so well

Sanji is acting way too perverted in this one, and it really ruins the mood when he should be more of a gentleman

I think the Spa Island setting is a nice change of pace after Thriller Bark, and seeing the crew relax for once felt earned

EPISODE CONTEXT

This filler episode lands right after the Straw Hats officially welcome Brook as their newest crewmate in Episode 381, giving the crew a comedic cooldown before their next canonical adventure. It kicks off the brief Spa Island filler arc, continuing directly into Episode 383. For viewers tracking the main story, this is a safe skip — it bridges the gap between major arcs without advancing the overarching narrative.
