i loved how luffy handled having a hundred shadows inside him when most people would just pass out and it shows how much he wants to save his friends shadows

the blue skin and the giant muscles make luffy look like a totally different character and the animation during the transformation scene was actually pretty cool

thriller bark has been getting so much better every week and this episode with nightmare luffy finally appearing was the best one yet for sure

Nami saved Franky from getting crushed and she really stepped up when things looked bad but Nightmare Luffy showing up with that dark aura was the huge shift this arc needed

the way luffy just absorbed all those shadows and became this huge monster is such a wild power up and he looks way more intimidating than usual

you can really feel the shift in the battle now that luffy is back, and i am ready to see him actually land some heavy hits on oars after all that struggling

Lola shoving 100 shadows into Luffy is the wildest thing and seeing him transform into that massive dark version of himself was worth the wait and now Moria is going to pay

it was so satisfying to see luffy finally get a hand on moria, especially after moria spent the whole arc hiding behind his zombies and acting like he was untouchable

Gotta say, when Luffy busted out Gear Third, my jaw almost dropped watching Moria's face just crumple from smug to absolute panic. It was so satisfying to finally see that pompous jerk realize he'd completely messed with the wrong Straw Hat, seriously, he had it coming!

I never thought we would see Luffy use a giant sword and seeing him turn into that beast after absorbing those shadows was actually intense

luffy looking like a blue bodybuilder was not on my list of things to see today but he looks so scary and strong i cant wait to see him destroy oars

i was skeptical about the rolling pirates stuffing shadows into luffy at first but seeing him hold one hundred of them just through sheer willpower was incredible and knowing he only has ten minutes makes the whole situation feel so urgent and desperate against oars and moria since they have been dominating the crew for so long now

nami really came through with that lightning strike to save franky when oars was about to crush him and it was nice to see her contribute to the fight like that

I still cant believe luffy actually stuffed a hundred shadows into his body and grew into that blue giant monster thing

It was so satisfying to see Moria's smug face finally disappear when Nightmare Luffy started pummeling him, especially after he spent the whole arc acting like he was untouchable and better than everyone

I loved when Lola kept asking Luffy to marry her even though they were in the middle of a huge crisis and it was a nice break from all the intensity

Luffy just grabbing that sword and swinging it around like he knew what he was doing totally threw me off, I never expected him to pull out those kinds of moves and absolutely demolish everything. It was such a wild sight, I can't even imagine what Zoro was thinking seeing his captain suddenly turn into a master swordsman.

The sheer panic I felt watching that 10-minute clock shrink was insane; Luffy absolutely *had* to finish Oars before the sun rose and stripped him of all that incredible Nightmare Luffy strength. I mean, my stomach dropped just thinking about him losing that power and being so vulnerable right after getting it, what a desperate situation.

Luffy taking in all those shadows just blew my mind, like, who even thought he could handle a hundred when normal dudes struggle with a couple? Seeing him as that huge blue monster, wielding a sword and just absolutely pummeling Oars and Moria, made me feel so relieved to see him finally get the upper hand after everything. It was such a wild, powerful change for him, honestly.

The way Sanji and the guys used the Jenga Cannon was actually pretty smart and then Nami hit Oars with that huge lightning bolt

EPISODE CONTEXT

Deep in the Thriller Bark arc, this episode marks the critical pivot from defensive struggle to counterattack, following episodes of the Straw Hats being systematically outmatched by Gecko Moria's forces. The introduction of Nightmare Luffy represents the culmination of shadow-based plot threads established earlier in the arc. It directly sets up the climactic confrontation with Moria, accelerating the arc toward its explosive final stretch.
