The whole thing with Nami finding Cindry's old death certificate gave me serious chills, like, how messed up is it for Hogback to bring someone back and just wipe away their old life to make them a slave? I can't even imagine what kind of twisted motivation drives him to do something so disrespectful to the dead, let alone the living.

Ryuma just took out Nami and Usopp and Chopper without them even realizing they got hit and it was terrifying because he is way too strong for a mummy

Luffy just punching a hole through the door because he didnt want to wait for the lock was so funny and his lack of fear with those portrait zombies is hilarious

I cant believe that samurai zombie Ryuma has the same laugh as Brook and even asked for Nami's panties just like he did and it makes me wonder if they are related

Woah, that delayed sword strike from Ryuma completely caught me off guard, and it totally changed my perspective on these zombie generals – they're way more dangerous than I initially thought, especially for someone like Usopp or Nami.

It is so unsettling how Cindry just stares at everyone with those dead eyes and throws plates while Hogback laughs like a maniac in the background

I was really confused by the tone at first but seeing the zombies have a full musical number with a disco ball while Nami and Usopp are literally getting stuffed into coffins is the kind of stuff only this show can pull off and I actually loved how Luffy didn't even flinch at the ghost portraits jumping out of the walls before he eventually got his shadow stolen

My skin was crawling when Hogback started looming over the trio in that lab and then Ryuma appeared with that creepy Brook laugh and asked for Nami's panties

Singing zombies at a giant disco party? I honestly couldn't believe my eyes; this island feels like a fever dream compared to literally anywhere else the Straw Hats have ever landed. It's got me wondering if they'll ever find a normal resident here, or if everyone's just a part of this wild, undead show.

You have to worry when that Ryuma guy starts humming and walking away and then suddenly Nami and the others just collapse out of nowhere

watching luffy have the time of his life while everyone else is terrified makes me laugh especially when he tries to play with the ice bear rug

Okay, that whole bit with Ryuma mentioning the Wano Kingdom totally gave me goosebumps because you *know* that's gonna tie into Zoro's story somehow. My jaw almost dropped watching Zoro, *the* Swordsman of the Straw Hats, genuinely look impressed by Ryuma's skill – that's a rare sight and really makes me hype for whatever Wano holds.

I can't believe that samurai zombie asked to see Nami's underwear just like Brook did earlier and then he wiped out the weakling trio with that delayed sword slash move which was so cool

The way the shadows actually keep the original person's personality is such a cool concept and seeing Ryuma act exactly like Brook while being a terrifying swordsman is such a great twist

I couldn't stop laughing when Zoro just told Sanji to rest in peace after he went missing and didn't even care to look for him

Seeing Nami and Usopp and Chopper get taken out so easily by that one samurai was scary and now that Sanji is missing too the situation in the mansion is looking pretty bad

ryuuma taking out the coward trio so fast was brutal and seeing him use the same sword style as brook but way more deadly is scary

brook asking for panties was funny but the zombie samurai doing it too makes the shadow stealing thing way more clear and it explains why he is so strong

It was so funny when Luffy was yelling for Moria while everyone else was terrified of the paintings and his energy really helps balance out how weird this island is

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode follows directly from the crew's initial split on Thriller Bark, where Nami, Usopp, and Chopper had their unsettling encounter with Dr. Hogback and his zombie creations. Now the focus widens to the full crew navigating the haunted mansion, escalating the arc's central mystery and supernatural stakes. It serves as a crucial bridge episode, deepening the eerie world-building of Thriller Bark before the arc shifts into more direct confrontations with the island's true power players.
