Conflict finally sharpens, adding some urgency. Still not particularly memorable.

Seeing Sanji and Chopper stuck doing manual labor at the tower was actually pretty funny even if Wetton is a total jerk for taxing the air people breathe

Nami really went into the rainbow mist with zero hesitation to get her crew back and her character shines when she balances being greedy with being a loyal friend

I was definitely not expecting Robin to bring up a plane, and now I can't stop thinking about how the timeline in this mist actually works

Wetton is just the worst kind of guy for making everyone work in that tower and Nami jumping into the mist for her friends while still looking for gold is so typical for her

When Henzo talked about his friends, my stomach just dropped hearing he'd been waiting fifty years while they barely aged a day. I can't even begin to imagine how isolating that must feel, like time itself played a cruel trick on him specifically.

whoa, that marine showing up to help them out of the blue totally threw me for a loop, what's his deal? it just makes me think this whole wetton thing isn't as straightforward as it seems, and i'm kinda loving the mystery of it all.

Robin mentioning a plane inside the mist is such a weird detail and it makes you wonder if there are more advanced civilizations tucked away in these random weather anomalies

I am still thinking about that weird looking ship Robin spotted in the graveyard because it looked way too much like a plane for a world where people still use sails and wooden boats and the idea that the mist holds things from the future or a lost past makes this filler arc way more interesting than I expected

That rainbow tower finally reaching the mist feels like things are about to get even crazier and Wetton is just being a total greedy jerk

You can tell this is filler but the concept of the rainbow mist is actually cool, especially with that mysterious marine helping out behind the scenes

Sanji getting himself stuck while trying to deal with Wetton was such a mess and that mayor really needs a good kicking soon

The way time works in the rainbow mist totally freaks me out and thinking about all those old ships from centuries ago just sitting there is wild

Chopper using his rumble ball to stand his ground against Wetton was great because that little doctor really has a lot of heart

It is actually so depressing how Henzo grew old for fifty years while his friends stayed as kids and now Rapanui doesnt even trust him

That weird ship Robin found that looks like a plane makes the graveyard in the mist feel so creepy and mysterious, like where did that technology even come from

I was laughing so hard when Nami showed up with a boat already overflowing with gold while everyone else was actually worried about the mist

Wetton using a giant tower to basically steal from a temporal graveyard is such a low move and he really treats those poor islanders like dirt

The concept of the apes concert is honestly one of the cooler ideas for a filler arc, and the mystery of where that plane came from is actually kind of haunting

Wetton making Henzo build that tower just to exploit the mist is so cruel and the straw hats better wreck his plans in the next episode

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode sits in the middle of the anime-original Rainbow Mist arc, building directly on the mysteries and conflicts introduced in the preceding episodes as the Straw Hats became trapped in the enigmatic phenomenon. Wetton's schemes reach a critical intensity here, serving as the arc's escalation point before the climactic resolution in the episodes that follow. Being filler, this stretch sits outside the main One Piece storyline and can be skipped without losing continuity with the canon narrative.
