the scale of that bajrang gun fist is just ridiculous, especially when you see it hovering over the flower capital while everyone is celebrating and it makes the weight of onigashima falling feel so much more dangerous
cassidy's avatar
cassidy
kaido turning into a giant magma dragon and melting the skull dome was terrifying and the visual contrast with luffys white gear 5 form looked so good in those wide shots

kazuma_klever_147
denjiro showing up to save hiyori and execute the shogun was such a brutal moment and you could really feel all those years of waiting behind that single sword strike

I was getting a bit annoyed with how slow the fight was going, but that shot of the sky lanterns mixing with the Haki lightning totally won me over. Seeing the prayers for the Kozuki clan right as Denjiro ended Orochi was the best way to handle that. It made Luffy's final declaration about food feel so much more personal and important

the flashback showing little tama drinking that poisoned river water was so dark and it reminds you why luffy is so angry right now and needs to finish this

hearing his parents voices and finding the guts to move onigashima made me feel like momonosuke actually grew up into a real leader today

i actually started tearing up seeing all those lanterns with the wishes for clean water and food because it really put into perspective how much wano has suffered for twenty years

When Denjiro finally took off Orochi's last head, with those beautiful lanterns floating above, I literally cheered out loud. It felt like such a long time coming for him, and seeing that final slice after all the trouble Orochi caused just gave me pure vindication.

the animation is high quality but the pacing is a bit slow and they are really taking their time with this final punch by using all these flashbacks and recaps

luffy saying he wants a world where his friends can eat all they want is such a perfect answer to kaidos nonsense and it made that massive punch feel even heavier

I think Luffy saying he wants a world where his friends can eat as much as they want really gets to the core of his character, and it means everything to the people of Wano who have been starving for twenty years. Seeing Otama crying over a bowl of soup in that flashback always gets me so much more than any big fight

Those lanterns, rising up into the night sky while the real battle was happening above, just made me feel the weight of Wano's wait. I can only imagine how much hope they've held onto for so long, all for Oden's promise of dawn.

Holy cow, when that island-sized fist appeared in the sky, I was absolutely floored; the way the Haki was just *everywhere* made me gasp, thinking about how far Luffy has pushed his limits now. This battle feels like nothing we've ever seen him do before, and it's exhilarating to witness.

I was so happy when Denjiro showed up to save Hiyori. Seeing Orochi's head fly off was the best moment, and it felt like a weight was lifted when he finally died for real this time.

I waited so long to see Denjiro finally take that snake Orochi out for good and my stomach turned seeing those starving kids in the flashback when Luffy shouted his answer to Kaido about everyone eating fill

I actually felt proud of Momonosuke when he stopped crying and finally moved the entire island with those flame clouds to save the capital

When Kaido went full Flame Drum Dragon mode, I honestly couldn't believe my eyes seeing the Skull Dome just start to melt away. It's wild to think about how much raw power he's packing, pushing his body to that extreme and threatening to bring down the whole island on everyone.

Denjiro cutting off that last head was exactly what needed to happen after Orochi spent the whole season refusing to just stay down

When Denjiro finally delivered that last slash, I swear a huge sigh of relief escaped me, like all of Wano's pain and my own frustration with Orochi's survival just vanished. It felt so good to see that snake get what he deserved after everything, and now Wano can actually begin to breathe again.

Denjiro appearing through the smoke to protect Hiyori was such a relief, especially since it finally put an end to all the Orochi fake out deaths we had to deal with

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off Episode 1074, where Luffy's resolve against Kaido reached its peak, Episode 1075 escalates the emotional and narrative stakes as the Wano arc barrels toward its conclusion. This installment crystallizes the generational trauma and hope that have defined Wano since the arc began, serving as a critical bridge between the final clash and its aftermath. It sets the stage for the arc's resolution and the broader world-shaking consequences that follow.
