Hiyori finally taking off that mask and telling Orochi exactly who she is felt so good after twenty years of waiting

Hearing Izou call the new generation his little brothers makes the sacrifice feel so heavy and his final stand was perfect since he lived up to the Whitebeard name by protecting family until the end

Raizo has an insane amount of willpower and he really just stood there while his clothes were on fire just to win a staring contest against that long forehead guy

The way the air distorted when Raizo just stood there and let himself catch fire just to win a ninja duel was incredible and Fukurokuju screaming while his forehead burned was actually pretty dark

Kaido switching between being a sad drunk and a homicidal drunk while fighting Luffy on the roof was the most chaotic thing and his Haki is getting way more terrifying to look at

Watching Kaido go through all those different drunken phases while fighting Snakeman was a trip. His Homicidal Drunk form looks absolutely monstrous and Luffy is really pushing his limits with that Hydra attack

Seeing that flashback of a younger Big Mom makes you wonder how things went so wrong for her later in life, because she actually looked like she could have been a hero in the navy. It is a weird contrast to the monster she became but seeing her fall into that hole and explode really felt like the end of an era for the pirates

I can't believe the Gorosei are actually ordering a hit on Luffy right in the middle of his fight with Kaido, and the way Guernica looked so stressed about it made the situation feel even more desperate

Izou pinning Maha and unleashing those point-blank shots just absolutely floored me. My heart ached seeing him go out like that, but it truly cemented for me that he was a Whitebeard commander through and through, fighting with every ounce of his being right to his last breath.

I was not expecting Kaido to have so many different drunken styles but Luffy going Snakeman to speed things up was a smart move in my opinion

Izo really fought until his last breath, didn't he? I couldn't believe he managed to take out that CP0 agent even as he was dying; it just felt so Izo, always protecting what matters. My chest got all tight watching him go down, knowing he was giving his all for the new generation.

Raizo winning that contest of wills against Fukurokuju while they were both literally burning alive shows why the Kozuki retainers are so tough and he did not even flinch at the heat

You know things are getting serious when the literal five elders are panicking and calling for an execution mid fight and sending that agent on a suicide mission to stop Luffy feels like a desperate move

I felt so much satisfaction when Hiyori finally took off that mask, looked Orochi in the eyes, and told him exactly who she was. That coward deserves every bit of the terror he felt

Yamato frantically freezing the explosives while that fire spirit hovered over her was such a tense scene and you can really feel how close the whole island is to just blowing up

Hiyori taking off that mask and looking Orochi in the eye while he was pinned under those rocks felt so satisfying and she finally got her justice

Wait until you see the look on Orochi's face when he realizes he was in love with Oden's daughter this whole time. Hiyori stood her ground in that fire and looked completely fearless

I can’t believe we lost Izou like that but seeing him take down a CP0 agent on his way out was special. The whole episode felt so heavy, especially with Hiyori finally staring down Orochi while the castle burns around them. It really feels like the old era is finally ending and Luffy is about to change everything on that rooftop

The contrast between the chaos in the castle, and the absolute silence of Raizo and Fukurokuju standing in the flames, was haunting. You can really feel the weight of the twenty years of waiting in Raizo's silence while his rival was screaming in pain. It makes the victory feel much more earned when you see the physical toll it took

I am still thinking about Izou taking on both CP0 agents by himself and he really went out like a total hero to protect the new era

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1068 lands in the final stretch of the Wano Country arc, following episode 1067's resolution of key battles and shifting focus toward the emotional and strategic fallout. This is a transitional but essential chapter — it deepens character arcs for figures like Hiyori and Izou while positioning the remaining conflicts that will define Wano's conclusion. It bridges the gap between the arc's climactic battles and the decisive moments still ahead.
