That moment where Killer figured out the trick with the arm made so much sense to me because Kid lost his left arm ages ago to Shanks

The scene with the Smile fruit flashback always makes me feel so bad for Killer and seeing him win after all that torture was the best part of the whole week

That Beheading Claw move at the end looked so sharp and the lack of crazy glowing auras made the fight feel way more grounded than the usual Wano stuff

Killer showed so much heart by staying still while Hawkins was beating on him just to keep Kid safe and that gamble with the arm was brilliant

Watching Big Mom just toss Kid and Law around felt a bit slow and it dragged on for way too long before we got back to the actual fight with Hawkins

Hawkins really thought he was invincible but Killer using the prosthetic arm logic to slice him up was actually such a smart move and the animation for the scythes looked impressive

My heart broke for Killer when he was just standing there taking hits to protect Kid. The loyalty of the Kid pirates is on another level and seeing them finally get a win was great

Seeing Hawkins draw the Tower card at the very end gave me chills because it really feels like the old era is finally crumbling down. I thought Kid was done for when Big Mom was towering over him, but Killer coming through with that smart play changed everything. The way his mask was cracking showed how much pain he was in.

The way the missing arm was set up years ago just for it to pay off like this is crazy. Killer is a legend for figuring out that loophole while bleeding out on the floor

Some parts of the recap felt a bit long but the actual fight between the two supernovas was gorgeous. Toei put a lot of effort into those scythe movements and the lighting in the castle

Killer's agonizing forced laughter during that Smile fruit flashback absolutely broke my heart, I could practically feel his internal struggle. Seeing him finally triumph over Orochi, knowing all the injustice he endured, made me pump my fist in the air – he truly earned that win.

Whoa, the reveal about the missing arm was a total gut punch, I honestly didn't see that coming at all. But watching Killer use his smarts to outmaneuver the enemy, knowing exactly how Kid would react, just showed me what true loyalty looks like, especially when Big Mom was literally seconds away from crushing my boy.

It was painful for me to watch the crew stand there and do nothing while Killer was getting destroyed by Hawkins

Hawkins putting all his faith in those tarot cards and then pulling the Tower card right when his luck ran out was the ultimate karma for his betrayal

Those flashing red and blue colors during the final impact looked amazing and they made the final hit on Hawkins feel much more powerful

Watching Hawkins go from acting all smug and invincible to looking absolutely terrified when Killer crushed that straw doll was the most satisfying moment of the whole wano war so far

It was pretty cool watching Kid and Law get back up to face Big Mom after that curse was broken and they look ready to actually do some damage now

Kid was getting absolutely destroyed by Big Mom because of those voodoo dolls and seeing him stand back up once the curse broke felt so good

I honestly didnt expect the left arm loophole at all and it made so much sense since we have known about Kids arm for so long now, but the way Hawkins was just banging his head to hurt Kid felt so cheap and annoying so I am just glad Killer finally ended him and showed that loyalty matters more than some stupid cards

Killer using the missing arm loophole was so smart and Hawkins really thought he was untouchable until his own arm got sliced off and he realized his mistake

EPISODE CONTEXT

Falling deep within the Wano Country arc's Onigashima raid, this episode shifts focus from Sanji's personal crisis in Episode 1053 to Killer's decisive confrontation with Hawkins — one of several simultaneous battles raging across the island. It resolves a thread that's been building since the Worst Generation's alliances fractured, and clears the way for subsequent episodes to escalate toward the arc's remaining major showdowns.
