Yamato finally showed up and saved Momonosuke and Shinobu and she looked so cool with that club. Those bullets didnt stand a chance against her strength

Queen just keeps laughing and talking about the virus while the same animation of people freezing plays over and over and it makes the whole raid feel like it is moving at a snail pace

This episode felt like it took forever to get through, because they kept cutting back to the same scenes of the virus spreading in the crowd and why is it titled after Chopper when he has one line of dialogue and then disappears and the stuff with Kiku and Kin'emon was the only thing that actually mattered, but even that felt way too short

Yamato swinging her club to save Momonosuke and Shinobu was a great scene because she just swatted those bullets away like they were flies and stood her ground against the armored division

Kaido talking about how Roger and Whitebeard died was a heavy moment for me because it made him feel so much more threatening as he stood there under that red moon

Those weird gifters with the animals on their butts are just distracting and we do not need these weird jokes when Kiku is literally losing limbs on the roof

Kaido is a monster for what he did to Kiku, but Kin'emon using fire to stop the bleeding was a tough way to handle that injury

I am starting to get tired of how slow the anime is moving lately because they spent way too much time showing Shinobu running away from Yamato when we all know she is a friend

Sanji and Jinbe really kicked some serious butt, absolutely clearing the way for Luffy, and I was so hyped watching them go! But seriously, my patience is wearing thin; I just want to see my captain on the roof already for the main event.

I feel so cheated because the title says it is about Chopper but he was barely in it and instead we got ten minutes of people turning into ice statues

King putting a hit on Momonosuke really raised the stakes for everyone inside the castle and now it feels like every single floor is just a massive deathtrap for the kid

Kaido talking about death as a completion of life while he stands over the injured samurai made the roof battle feel extremely grim

Yamato jumping in to save Shinobu and Momonosuke from those soldiers was such a great entrance and she really acts like Oden

The way those samurai just stiffened up and started turning into ice-oni was genuinely chilling; I can't imagine the terror of watching your own body betray you like that. It makes me wonder just how much more horrific Queen's ice devil will get before someone stops him, seeing the brutal toll it takes.

Queen being so cruel to his own subordinates with that ice virus makes him one of the most disgusting villains in the show

I was so annoyed that the episode moved slowly, especially when we only got to see Chopper for two minutes despite the episode being named after him

I am honestly just exhausted by the pacing, because it felt like nothing happened for twenty minutes besides the roof scene. Kiku losing her arm was the only part that felt real, but the rest was just Queen shooting bullets into a crowd while Chopper stood there and cried about the virus instead of actually doing something cool

The scene with the chicken coming out of the guy's butt was the weirdest thing ever and Sanji just taking them out instantly was funny

King's blunt announcement about Momonosuke being a target honestly sent a shiver down my spine, it just cranked up the tension so much. I could feel the sheer pressure on the kid, and it made me wonder if he can truly handle being the focus of such a huge war.

I am honestly so frustrated with how much they are dragging this out because the Kiku scene was actually powerful, but it felt buried under way too much filler and slow walking. It is annoying when the title promises a big Chopper moment and then we get a few minutes of him just standing there while the plot barely moves forward

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep within the Wano Country arc's Onigashima raid, this episode follows directly from the outbreak of the Ice Oni virus that began threatening allied samurai in Episode 1005, shifting focus to the desperate efforts to counter it. It serves as a critical setup episode, developing the stakes of the biological threat while the larger battles rage on multiple floors of the fortress. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into upcoming confrontations and resolutions that will carry the raid forward.
