"Shaved years off" moment was too funny lmao. But tbh same, this entire episode is too stressful. The relatability is crazy with the amount of unknowns. The skill of the other competitors doesn't help either. But Inori, you got this!

I like how supportive Mom is turning out to be now. The character development shines well here! The other coach and the grandpa are such a wholesome guys too~

The comedy here doesn't let up one bit lmao, that definitely helped despite the tension overload in this episode. Seeing the new characters gets me both excited and nervous for Inori

Tsukasa, what a great coach you are. You made sure Inori doesn't panic and stays focused to perform better. After all the hard work Inori has done, it can't all go in vain just because of an accident. A good episode.

as the character faces a challenge, the tension is building much. but what i really like to take note of this episode is that the way we can see how Inori changes for the better, the way she handles her emotions from before is much different.

Episode 8 is a masterclass in building tension. It proves that the most intense moments in a sports anime don't always happen during the game (or the skate)—sometimes, they happen in the desperate minutes leading up to it.

Tension starts to build as expectations rise. The pacing remains controlled, but the stakes feel higher, and you can sense things are getting more serious and intense with each step forward.

Really, that coach and parent are complete W's, my Asian parent would've prolly yelled at my ass till I cried and packed my shit to go home, and that would've been the end of my skating career. Big W's though great episode.
