That scene where the target just keeps regenerating is pure horror and it fits the dark tone of these older stories so well

The sci fi stuff is super dated but the twist with the drug was actually cool and it made the whole mission feel way more dangerous

I was just trying to find some old school sci-fi and stumbled on this final episode, but the relationship between Kanako and the robot girl gets so heavy when the virus starts taking over everything. The way the target keeps coming back makes the action feel desperate and visceral. It really makes you wonder if those memories were even real or just programmed

Watching the computer virus spread while they fought that undying guy was actually pretty tense and the drawings look so late nineties

that necross monster was way more intense than I expected for a show like this and the body horror really caught me off guard, and watching the virus slowly mess with the robot girl's programming while she tries to stay loyal to Kanako just makes their dynamic feel so much more complicated with all these secrets now coming to the surface

I felt so unsettled when the robot girl reacted to the target coming back to life and the whole mood was just really dark and strange

the way the music stopped when the target started twitching back to life was so effective and the action scenes are getting way more desperate for these two

that target just would not die no matter how many times Kanako shot him and the mystery behind the world network virus is starting to get really messy
sailor_lead_crow's avatar
sailor_lead_crow
the contrast between the brutal horror of the necross transformation and the soft moments in the apartment is so jarring and the chills are still there
bang_brawler's avatar

that scene where the virus almost wiped her memory made everyone so nervous for the robot girl and her devotion to Kanako is the only thing keeping them alive

watching that monster regenerate after a clean assassination shot was such a huge twist and it really makes you wonder what is really in that drug
cilan_339's avatar

I really did not think that guy was going to stand back up after what Kanako did to him and the way his skin looked was actually terrifying
tatl_264's avatar
tatl_264
seeing the robot girl glitch out because of that virus while she was trying to protect him felt so wrong and the animation on her eyes was haunting

My stomach actually turned when the drug started transforming that target, but watching Kanako stay focused while that thing mutated felt incredibly visceral
daemon_coder's avatar

the sci-fi elements are getting way darker and that necross thing looked like it came straight out of a nightmare and it really put their partnership to the test

I was caught off guard by the ending where the robot girl showed so much emotion while Kanako was struggling with those flashes of his past and it made me wonder if she is more human than she looks. The whole Necross concept is terrifying since he just keeps regenerating from the virus and they have no way to actually stop him yet

This episode felt messy because the drug plot and the virus thing did not connect at all and the action scenes were way too dark to see anything
blastoise_303's avatar
blastoise_303
The transformation scene for the Necross target was gruesome, and the way the music shifted to that heavy synth beat during the fight made it feel like a real nightmare

ancient_robot_295
I expected more horror with a title like Necross but it was mostly just weird science talk about the network virus and Kanako acting all confused about his memories

The way that target just kept getting back up after Kanako shot him was actually creepy and the robot girl really saved the day with that viral block at the end

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'Protocol,' where Kaoru and Alice first began pulling at the threads of a dangerous cybernetic conspiracy, 'Necross' sits at the convergence point of every mystery and threat the series has been developing. As the third and final episode, it carries the full weight of resolution — this is where the arc closes, not opens. There is no next chapter; what unfolds here is the series' definitive statement.
