monk_kass★★★★☆EP 2The animation in this volume looks way better than most stuff in the genre and those sprites actually moving makes a huge difference compared to the game
Living in his uncle's apartment, a college-aged guy does basically nothing with his free time. His uncle gets fed up watching him rot in his room and gives him a simple directive: go outside and find someone to be with while you're young. The protagonist has zero experience with girls and no one he's particularly interested in — he's just a regular, somewhat directionless kid who's never really put himself out there. That nudge from his uncle is all it takes to get the story moving. What follows across these two OVA episodes is his first real brush with romantic and physical intimacy, adapted directly from the visual novel of the same name. T-Rex's animation keeps things visually clean and character designs faithful to the source material, which fans of the game will appreciate. The tone stays lighthearted throughout — this isn't trying to be dramatic or emotionally heavy. It's a straightforward adult romance setup with a relatable everyman lead. If you've watched Pretty x Cation The Animation or similar visual novel adaptations in this space, you'll recognize the format immediately. It's short, low-commitment, and delivers exactly what it's going for without overcomplicating things. Two episodes, one simple premise, no pretension about what it is.
