QUICK TAKES

This episode shifts the spotlight to Noren. I think the character interactions were easily the strongest part, and I liked that the comedy and serious moments blended together without making the pacing feel awkward.

What a great episode. The fight scenes are truly exciting and magnificent. How Juzo shows his skill as a veteran adds to the excitement in this episode.

I really like the craftsmanship in this episode. The BGM makes it much more exciting to watch. That said, the way Juzo calculated that shot was simply divine. That scene is definitely my favorite part of the episode.

I kinda understand Noren's hate for men. And I admire her conviction to be independent despite her parent's wealth. And can I just mention how good the opening song for this anime?! It fits well with the anime's vibe.

Just like what I said, you can't go wrong with a good jazz soundtrack on an action scene. I didn't find anything wrong with the animation during the action scene and I guess Fujimaki sensei took pointers on the action sequence with his previous works. I must say, both the OP and ED are well made, if those level of animation will be shown on the future episodes then I look forward to seeing them.

The fact that this anime feels like a mixture of different animes stirred into one, but that’s exactly what makes it so fun I guess HAHA. The action scenes were SO THRILLING!! Loved every bit of it! plus, that opening song was so dope😭🔥 and I was literally shocked when I knew Aespa was the one who sang it!!! Absolute icons

This episode introduces us to a new cast member Noren Mitsuoka who is the daughter of the pharmaceutical compony involved with the making of the wasp that turned Juzo into a middle schooler.

Un episodio que avanza rápido y nos muestra no sólo comedia, sino también acción y otras cosas oscuras que dejan de ser meramente divertidas. Me gustó que ya se exploré un poco del pasado de los personajes.

Ok, we finally got an actual reason why Ogami's goes to he school. Id say this epsiode was much better than the first. The jokes landed very well.

Noren gets proper focus here and her ramen shop scenes gave the episode a surprisingly warm vibe. The kidnapping sequence was tense, but the small moments between her and Ogami made this episode stand out even more.

It builds on the comedy and school-life setup while showing more of Juzo’s awkward adjustment to being a student again. It keeps the action-light but entertaining, and the character interactions make the series feel more charming and balanced.

EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the premiere's establishment of Juuzou's mission and bodily transformation, Episode 2 expands the world by introducing Noren Mitsuoka, a character likely to become central to both the comedy and the larger plot. This episode marks the transition from setup to ongoing conflict, planting early seeds of the relationships and complications that will define Juuzou's infiltration across the remaining ten episodes.
