QUICK TAKES

I enjoyed how naturally the humor landed, and I feel like watching someone so serious deal with everyday school problems made the episode a lot more entertaining than I expected without dragging the pacing

This is a great opening episode to the series. The pace is fast and the plot develops significantly. Besides that, the fight scenes are really cool and exciting. Can't wait to see what will unfold in the next episode.

I am totally amazed! This is just... weirdly engaging, LOL! To be fair, the plot is actually really fun and the action is also freaking cool. The comedic bits is also well expressed. This is definitely a sleeper series!

Never thought I'll get hooked up by just watching the first episode! Juzo got my interest in just a snap of a finger! Man~ I am a sucker for this kind of plot~ can't wait to watch the shenanigans of the old man in Middle School. Hihi

From the same creator of Kuroko no Basket and I must say the story also has some potential. As for the studio, there are some inconsistencies with the art and oddly enough the animation in the OP (yes, it's supposed to be the OP even though it was played at the end) is much better than the show's content itself. The soundtrack has a mix of jazz and I must say you can't go wrong mixing a jazz soundtrack with action. I now have high expectation on this anime and will look forward to its future episode or if I get impatient then I might read the manga 😏

Lovee the premise of the plot! The main character looked really cool in the first few minutes, but then things happened and he became the biggest dork ever HAHA😭 and the high speed action was also really cool!

The main character is the legendary assassin Juzo Ogami who is turned into a middle school student from his usual 39-year-old self. He then joins a prestigious middle school as a job from his boss at the assassination organisation for money.
The story had good pacing and the writing was also good. The Jazz soundtrack is also very good

Plot nya menarikk

I love the story line, which unique & entertaining.

Such a fun comedy show

Good start to the anime. This epsiode draws you in with a relatable main character, Ogami, and the promise of high school hijinx haha.

A wild first episode that mixes assassin action with awkward middle school comedy perfectly. Watching Ogami struggle with normal student life while secretly handling dangerous situations made the episode way more entertaining than expected.

The first episode is a fun and fast-paced start with a unique storyline. The mix of action and comedy works really well, especially with the assassin acting like a tired adult stuck in middle school. It’s entertaining, stylish, and sets up the story clearly without wasting time.

EPISODE CONTEXT
As Episode 1 of 12, this is pure foundation — there is nothing before it, and everything after it builds from what is established here. Juuzou's core premise and central conflict are introduced, setting the trajectory for the full season. The next episode, 'Noren Mitsuoka,' will begin complicating that premise with a pivotal new character tied directly to Juuzou's transformation.
