the moment I saw a movie reference, I knew that this episode, would have a level of horror. We see interesting themes in this such as bullying and neglect.

It was interesting to see how the episode highlighted the damage that comes with adults neglecting young people does and in the same breath, adults who prioritize young people and how that has such lasting effects.

A 10/10 from me

This pivotal episode introduces one of the most down-to-earth characters in the series and a total badass: Nanami. It also gives us our first insight into Mahito's powers and philosophy as the show grows progressively darker.

Nobara and Megumi each get their own fight and both are great. Nobara against the curse that uses a body is creative and a little disturbing. Megumi's shadow work is getting more expressive. Running both stories at once keeps the pacing tight throughout. Worth it.

Massive shift into horror vibes! The gritty tone is a total flex. Nanami is the ultimate "Work Smart" sorcerer; everything he does is calculated and efficient. Love his 9-to-5 professional energy amidst the chaos. A masterclass in pacing and dread. W debut.

This ep goes full psychological horror and I am rattled. Mahito is pure menace and seeing the dark side of this world is a whole mood. Watching Yuji level up his cursed energy control while dealing with those grotesque visuals is wild. It is gritty, eerie, and lowkey disturbing.

In this episode, Itadori begins to understand how to control his punch so it has more power, we also start to understand how curses appear and how their categories work.
