Este episodio es el que mas destaco de la primer temporada ya que nos da una pizca de la intensidad que se esta por venir. Es el primer enfrentamiento que tenemos entre un hechicero de primer grado con un espiritu de grado especial. El humor seco de Nanami comparado con la personalidad nihilista de Mahito junto a una batalla teatralmente animada hacen a este capitulo una joya oculta.

Mahito gets a full scene to just be horrifying and he earns every second of it. The thing he does to demonstrate idle transfiguration on the prisoner is stomach-turning. Junpei's dynamic with him makes it worse because you can feel how it's going to end. Dark. Don't miss.

Mahito vs. Nanami was lit! Even with the fast pacing, the fight is so clean, you can track every move and landing. MAPPA’s visual flex on the spatial awareness is top-tier. Nanami’s efficiency vs. Mahito’s horror is a total W.

I am not sure I can get tired of the visuals, choreography, and cinematics of these JJK fights. Story building and setups to start but ends on a high note. These cliffhanger fights are making me stay up past my bedtime!

Cursed spirit with extra mouths/limbs? Creepy as hell. Animation grotesque but so smooth. Atmosphere dark and unsettling. Gave me chills from how weird and detailed it looked, no cap.

action comes back strong here, but it’s mixed with some solid character development. You really feel the gap between experience and raw talent. The teamwork and strategy make the fights way more interesting.

This episode breaches many levels of morality, body horror and to some it can be very discomforting. though it maintains its usual funny and dark themes, it sells the emotions perfectly. Watch if you can handle heavy scenes with this sense of horror, and want stronger stakes.

Mahito is cool but really creepy because of his powers, especially how brutally he uses them on humans. It makes the episode feel darker.
Nanami’s words at the end also got me hyped for what’s coming next.
