Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

The second season is definitely better than the first. It features plenty of twists throughout the story, and the action is much better than in the first season. I would definitely recommend watching it.

Thunderclap is pure JJK chaos at its best! Megumi’s desperate fight against Toji’s raw physical dominance is brutal, while Sukuna absolutely toys with and obliterates Jogo in the most cinematic way possible. The animation, soundtrack, and emotional beats (especially Jogo’s final moments) are flawless. Peak shonen. 9.8/10

An interesting twist to the anime. I liked how the backstory isn't boring, it’s really well done and makes you become attached to the characters. The animation is great, as always.

The most highly anticipated showdown between The Strongest Sorcerer in History vs The Divine General. Easily the most hype moment of 2023. Not only did MAPPA do manga readers justice with the adaptation, but they spoilt us with extra footage in the Blu-Ray release. While some anime condense fight scenes into a fraction of an episode or stretch a fight by inserting flashbacks, Gege Akutami made this scene one of the few clashes in anime that stretches it into an entire episode that increases in intensity as the fight progresses. Sukuna truly shows the world why he was dubbed the strongest in the Heian Era by immediately deciphering Mahoragas abilites and countering every single one. Mahoraga on the other hand shows why no one was ever able to tame it in the history of JJK by standing toe-to-toe with the King of Curses. For anime-onlies, look forward to the Shinjuku Showdown for the continuation of this fight; Akutami will surprise you with more action.

Beautiful animation and great pacing. One of the most highly anticipated shounen anime of 2023. Did not dissappoint manga readers at all. MAPPA's decission to combine Hidden Inventory and Shibuya Arc into one season fits perfectly and provided important context for Gojo and geto's unfortunate reunion, as well as Geto's surprise reveal to the audiences. An abosulte rewatch-worthy series and surpassed season 1's story.

After Riko Amanai’s death and seeing the cultists applauding and celebrating, Gojo—emotionally shaken and detached—asks Geto whether they should kill the non-sorcerers responsible for the reaction.

That Gojo sealing scene was absolutely wild. The animation during the prison realm sequence went crazy, and you can literally feel the stakes skyrocketing. MAPPA absolutely cooked with the pacing on this one.

Peak

This episode is a masterclass in tension and payoff. Gojo Satoru’s "awakening" after being brutally defeated by Toji Fushiguro is one of the most iconic moments in anime history. The animation shifts into a surreal, ethereal style that perfectly captures Gojo’s detachment from humanity as he reaches a god-like state. Toji remains a terrifying force of nature, making his eventual downfall feel earned and tragic. It is a flawless transition from a high-stakes thriller to a philosophical display of absolute power.

As Mahito and team charge forward with unhinged moves through their despicable powers, it all becomes an emotional affair for Gojo’s sorcerers as they refuse to give up while still risking a lot to lose. Ocho and Itadori’s fight seemed like a never-ending dilemma, while a sweet surprise is just waiting around the corner.

Ocho and Itadori’s fight seemed like a never-ending dilemma, while a sweet surprise was just waiting around the corner. Overall, JJK || is a teaser into Shakuna’s potential and a hopeful beginning of an inevitable end.

One of the best episodes of anime possibly of all time. Action packed and shocking from minute one, with fantastic animation and brutal emotional highs and lows. Seeing Gojo come into his power and become the man we know in the main series is both satisfying and horrific.

The fight between Sukuna and Mahoraga is insane with the graphics and animation style which pays serious attention to detail. The Episode clearly showcases Sukuna's fighting style and abilities While explaining how MAhoraga's technique works

An unexpected but perfect combination of action and chaos. The reappearance of Toji had me on the edge of my seat from the start of the episode. I didn't even have time to recover after watching Jogo speedblitz Maki, Nanami and Naobito before Sukuna showed up!

This episode was absolute madness. Sukuna vs Mahoraga looked insane visually and the level of destruction was crazy. Easily one of the best fights in the entire series.

This episode broke my heart, especially because I understand you, Geto, even though I don't agree with your methods. The system destroys... but even more destructive was the separation of these two best friends, SuGeto 4ever :(
