Episode 23 of 24 places this as the climactic peak of the 'Dio's World' multi-part finale, following the devastating escalations of Parts 1 and 2 where the Crusaders faced DIO's overwhelming Stand ability. The entire Egypt arc, and indeed the full Stardust Crusaders journey, funnels into this confrontation, with only the finale 'Long Journey Farewell, My Friends' remaining to resolve the aftermath and close out the character arcs.
