The ending at the bus stop felt a bit sudden but I really dug the art style on her track uniform and the hair details

Seeing him freak out at first when she got close was pretty funny and then he just totally leaned into it once things got heated up

The sound of the rain hitting the roof while they were getting busy made the whole thing feel so much more private and secluded

I thought it was great she started talking first because usually these things are so awkward and they actually had some chemistry before everything went down

The way the rain looks against the bus stop lighting really sells the mood and that track girl is way more into it than he expected
getsuga_tensho_463's avatar
getsuga_tensho_463
the dialogue felt a little bit forced even for a show like this but the setting at that lonely bus stop looked really nice during the rain scenes

I thought the way the light hit the raindrops on the windows was beautiful, and the voice acting for the otaku character didn't sound as annoying as I expected
mallow_342's avatar
mallow_342
seeing the track girl completely lose her composure while the rain poured down outside was intense and the background art was really detailed for this kind of series
professor_tomoe's avatar

it felt like it ended way too fast and they could have spent more time on the conversation before jumping into the main stuff but the visuals were decent

having them stuck at a bus stop in the middle of nowhere is such a classic setup and the athlete girl had such a cool design
zexion_456's avatar
zexion_456
that transition from them just talking to showing their dark sides was sudden but it worked so well with the secluded forest vibe and the sound of the storm
arceus_309's avatar
arceus_309
the atmosphere in this one was actually pretty top tier because the rain felt like its own character and I liked how the athlete girl was the one who seemed to have more of those dark desires than the guy at first which was a nice change of pace from the usual tropes and the animation on the bus stop scenes looked great to my eyes

You can really feel the tension building up during that storm, and seeing the track girl finally break her athletic facade as they talked in the rain was a shock
tyson_350's avatar
tyson_350
I really liked the contrast between the track girl and that nerdy guy at the bus stop and the rain sound in the background was actually super soothing
faye_valentine's avatar
faye_valentine
the way they both give in to their weird urges while waiting for the bus felt so moody and the art style is way better than most stuff in this genre
gladion_352's avatar
gladion_352
I really liked the atmosphere of this one because the sound of the rain against the roof of the bus stop stayed consistent the whole time and it made the dialogue feel more private, and the track girl was way more into it than I expected she would be which made the whole dynamic work a lot better for me

You can tell the studio put a lot of work into the character designs because she looks great in that track uniform
cwunched's avatar
cwunched
That transition from just hiding from the storm to them actually talking about their weirdest fantasies was actually pretty smooth
lokomo's avatar
lokomo
I think the track girl having such a bold personality was a great contrast to how quiet the guy started out
marnie's avatar
marnie
The way the rain looked in the background made the whole bus stop setting feel so much more isolated and intimate

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the second and final episode, this directly builds on the chance encounter and underlying tension established in Episode 1, 'Katatsumuri,' pushing the characters from tentative connection into deeper emotional and physical territory. This is the payoff episode — everything the premiere set up converges here against a moody summer rainstorm backdrop. With only two episodes comprising the entire series, this serves as both climax and resolution of the central relationship arc.
