Idoly Pride

By far, this is the idol story with the most emotional depth. The lore is incredibly rich if we ignore the somewhat cheap writing at the end of the story, which was to be expected. The concept and genre were executed brilliantly, making it feel fresh compared to other love stories I've watched. It's not just a regular idol show; it's the deepest idol story I've experienced. With great execution, a great studio behind it, and strong production overall, they successfully hooked viewers from Episode 1. How can a premise be this good? 9.8/10 my final score.

I really enjoyed this series a lot, though I do have quite a few nitpicks. One of the most common problems I noticed was the pacing. The development felt really rushed. Another issue was the length of the concerts. While they usually went really epic, they felt really, really short! I couldn’t help but yearn for more. That said, I really loved the dramatic storytelling. I especially enjoyed Mana’s lore a lot. Craftsmanship-wise, I am loving the visuals so much. The animation is also amazing. I especially loved the scene where Rei first appeared. That was really EPIC. That said, the animation isn’t perfect. There were times when the concerts felt choppy. Though, it didn’t happen very often, which was nice. Overall, I’d rate this series an 8/10. The story is fun to follow, and the girls are very cute!

Seriously, at first, I was quite disappointed with how the story was portrayed. The pacing felt all over the place, and the narration was also very messy, but the twist really caught me off guard! The story became far more intriguing and engaging then. This is a really solid premiere!
