Lost after a fall, the pink Hoppechan encounters a lavender Fortune Teller Hoppechan in a crystalline cave. The Fortune Teller dramatically declares Hoppechan the legendary protector of the kingdom. Hoppechan, confused, soon hears a dire prophecy of a "black giant" and the world's end, and realizes she has lost her memories of the past. It’s a classic beginning, placing the hero on a path to uncover a forgotten truth.

The Fortune Teller, with comical tumbles, urges Hoppechan to seek the "god" beyond a cave wall, promising the return of her memories. Hoppechan peers through a telescope, and the distant image zooms to reveal a girl's room, and a young woman named Nenechan. She is evidently the deity in question. The camera then returns to the cave, emphasizing the distance between the two worlds.

The glimpse into Nenechan's life shows her struggling with the mundane pressures of adulthood, clumsy and visibly tired as she prepares for her day. Her messy room, filled with stacks of boxes, suggests a life overwhelmed. A phone call confirms her disarray, with warnings about old cardboard boxes that must not be touched. The contrast between her world and Hoppechan's is stark, hinting at the source of the coming darkness.

Hoppechan, guided by the Fortune Teller, finds herself among Nenechan's boxes. The Fortune Teller reveals that the Sun Kingdom was born from a "god" who gave souls to the Hoppechan. Flashbacks show a young Nene joyfully creating and playing with the Hoppechan figures, emphasizing her role as their benevolent creator. This establishes the Sun Kingdom as a creation of childhood imagination.

The narrative continues, describing a "honeymoon" between the god and Hoppechan, followed by the god's gradual withdrawal and the kingdom's descent into desolation. The once vibrant Sun Kingdom fades to sepia, reflecting the passage of time and lost childhood. Flashbacks show Nene's past self, Hoho, experiencing nervous recitals and determined basketball games, charting her path from carefree child to burdened adult. This explains the kingdom's decay.

The Fortune Teller proclaims Hoppechan as the emissary of the new god. Suddenly, the cave shakes violently, as the Fortune Teller declares the "god" is in turmoil, threatening to engulf the Sun Kingdom in darkness. Hoppechan, desperate to save her friends, asks for guidance. The physical turmoil in the Sun Kingdom perfectly mirrors Nenechan's growing internal distress, making the prophecy tangible.

As Hoppechan is comically launched out of the cave, towards Nenechan's world, a giant black robot, the KH-robo, appears menacingly over the Sun Kingdom. Controlled by Black Chick Hoppechan and other villains, it begins a destructive rampage, smashing buildings and spreading chaos. The joyous shouts of the villains contrast with the widespread destruction. The scene sets a clear external threat.

Inside the KH-robo, the dark Hoppechan villains struggle with a malfunctioning control panel, panicking as their destruction spirals out of their control. Back in her room, Nenechan screams, her eyes glowing purple, seemingly possessed as she shouts "Bravo!". The robot's control panel shows a glitched "X_X" face, directly linking its chaotic actions to Nenechan's internal breakdown. The situation is dire for both worlds.

Hoppechan sees Nenechan on the robot's screen and declares she must save her. Black Chick Hoppechan angrily dismisses Nenechan as selfish, but Hoppechan defends her, asserting that everyone, even the Hoppechan figures, has flaws and difficult days. Her words resonate, uniting both the good and previously antagonistic Hoppechan, who then begin to contribute their jewels to a common cause. This is a moment of deep understanding.

The unified Hoppechan, with the Fortune Teller's magical assistance, complete a glowing rainbow bridge. The giant robot's plunger detaches, temporarily halting its rampage, giving them a chance. Hoppechan runs across the extending bridge, which stretches from the Sun Kingdom towards Nenechan's window. This bridge is a tangible symbol of renewed hope and connection between the two worlds. The collective effort is remarkable.

Hoppechan bursts into Nenechan's messy room, bouncing off her head. Nenechan stares at her laptop, which displays the same "X_X" glitch as the robot, and then collapses. Hoppechan watches a single tear roll down Nenechan's face, then surveys the chaotic room. With newfound determination, Hoppechan begins to tidy the space. The messy room reflects Nenechan's inner state, and its cleaning symbolizes her internal healing.

Nenechan awakens to a miraculously clean room and a newfound smile, her spirit noticeably lighter. She interacts playfully with Hoppechan, then opens a glowing box, from which Hoppechan emerges, transformed into a star-studded, flying figure. This radiant Hoppechan then soars upwards, re-establishing the vibrant rainbow bridge that connects their worlds. The episode concludes with Nenechan happy in her neat room, and Hoppechan flying triumphantly towards the light. It’s a quiet, profound victory.
