Love how it mixes this mystical world with something way more grounded and brutal, Gabimaru's whole situation is wild and it works. If you're into that dark samurai/assassin vibe with a weird twist, this one's for you.

I honestly didn't expect to get this hooked on the first episode! The ancient vibe and the visuals are just stunning, even if they get pretty extreme and brutal sometimes. Also, Gabimaru is such a mysterious man, he makes me so curious.

At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this anime, but the visuals turned out to be really impressive and full of action. The story also feels fresh and different from most anime, making it quite interesting to follow.

Ep 1 of Hell's Paradise wastes no time. The dynamic between the unkillable Shinobi, Gabimaru, and the pragmatic executioner, Sagiri, carries the episode. The pacing is relentless, blending brutal action with surprisingly deep character work. A highly recommended premiere!

Gabimaru, an "immortal" ninja on death row, survives every execution until executioner Sagiri reveals he actually wants to live for his wife. He’s offered a pardon if he finds the Elixir of Life on a lethal island. He accepts, seeking a path to a normal life.

This first episode hooked me right into the anime. There wasn’t a single dull moment and it kept me engaged the whole time. The animation looked good. The way Gabimaru survives so many execution attempts shows how strong he is, and his journey will be fun to watch.

Gabimaru's burn scars and missing fingers? Instant "this guy's been through hell" vibes 😭. Animation on his calm but scarred face so detailed and gritty. Atmosphere dark and intense right from the jump. Hit me with that "ninja survivor" energy, got me hooked fast.

wow... this 1st episode immediately pulled me in. Gabimaru is such a fascinating character- you can see his incredile strength, but with a haunting sadness. The dark, grim world is tense and mysterious, pulling you in. The animation and fight scenes are detailed and gripping.

From the first episode alone you can tell that this is going to be a banger! Beautiful animation and intense emotions and interactions. It doesn't take you long to relate to Gabimaru and cheer for him on his journey. This anime is also very violent, but the plot rules!

Great first episode, much to take in but will be better explained I feel as the story progresses with obvious higher levels of gore and action. Really interesting and I can't wait to see more of Gabimaru's shinobi abilities and how his emotions help drive this adventure.

The show is really well-drawn and beautiful that it makes for great aesthetic viewing pleasures. Not only that, the story pulls you in right from the start, having characters with distinct and strong personalities. Look forward to what's gonna happen next!

If you can’t handle blood, beheading or anything related to killing people in the most gruesome ways, this anime isn’t for you. However, if you’re able to handle it. Then try watching this, especially when you think you’ll relate to the MC. “ Why can’t I die?” “ Why won’t I die?”

The beginning of hells paradise had a very interesting way of portraying hero's character and giving a quick glimpse of how quick paced the series is going with the story. Graphic was is good.

Hell's Paradise is an exciting story, set in a world of immortals and assassins, featuring Gabimaru, a shinobi who has the ability to be immortal and control death, and his struggle against death and his desire to survive. The story is full of darkness and emotions.

Solid first episode, filled with twists, action and a sense of humour, but also suggests a series that's keen to emphasise its characters above all else. This is a pretty fantastic setup for this story, I I'm highly on board for the rest of the season.

You will be captivated by Episode 1. It doesn't spend time on filler history or gradual building. Rather, it establishes the mood: somber, aggressive, and pensive. The episode subtly poses important concerns, such as whether murderers are deserving of atonement.

It is a solid start. Gabimaru is already giving unbeatable strong MC, and the introduction of his wife was cherry on top. I sense heavy character development incoming, Really excited to see the rest of the episodes.
9/10, would recommend!!

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the first of thirteen episodes, this premiere lays the entire foundation — introducing the core dynamic between Gabimaru and Sagiri that will drive the season forward. It establishes the series' philosophical underpinnings and tonal identity before any mission begins. Episode 2, 'Screening and Choosing,' picks up directly from here, expanding the cast as the deadly expedition's selection process kicks into gear.
