Transitioning from the sky-high luxury of the Sphere to the unforgiving reality of the surface world is handled with such raw energy. Seeing the group adjust to this new environment while the stakes continue to climb makes for an incredibly watch.

Our first basic breakdown of the series' magic system, Anima, and Rudo's current grasp of it (no pun intended). Between learning to channel this power and how to interact with other people, we're left to wonder how far luck, 0-10 demeanor, and innate talent can carry our boy.

Cute interactions. The episode is mostly a setup for the characters, dynamic, and setting. Not much to comment since Zanka was stereotypical as first impression goes and Rio did not say much.

It always goes from enemies to besties, it hits hard. I’ve been screenshotting Zanka’s meme-worthy faces.

The animation is incredibly accurate to the manga art, which adds to the charm of Gachiakuta. However, I can imagine it might be a bit hard to swallow for some viewers. The rough lines are jarring, but this is Gachiakuta. Everything is rough and chaotic.

This episode had intense action but also a fun side. The ending felt unexpectedly funny. The underground world reveal was interesting, showing where everything is and how it works. The world-building was done well, and Zanka’s introduction was shown really well.

For those who are unaware- Zanka actually speak a different dialect in Japanese. In the english translation of the manga, is it heavily implied he has a southern accent. When I knew about it, I was a little disappointed he didn't have one in the Eng Dub, that being that, the ENG VA of Zanka did a wonderful job. It didn't feel forced at all and I was laughing my ass off this entire episode. The expressions are so funny as well.

Lmfao. This episode was too funny. We finally get to see another and their introduction came out too hilarious, especially their interaction to the MC.

We start to see how brutal this new world really is. Lore-heavy episode, but we get a great bunch of comedy, every now and then, it was hilarious. The world-building is nice and gradual. Constant tension keeps things engaging.

Rudo and Zanka's whole interaction in this episode was so funny, all the faces that Rudo made in their interaction was so silly looking. Rudo's vital instrument looks like it'll be OP once he gets the hang of it in future episodes.

What a fun episode! Rudo's potential allies are looking interesting. The comedy balanced with the clashing personalities between characters AND the worldbuilding is really great - I can tell there's much love in how this was made because watching this felt like a breeze.

Nice anime, typical shounen, but fresh because of steampunk aesthetic

This is where we get stability, a team he can trust and his potential he can unlock, it's the calm before the storm. We already know MC is gonna be OP, it's classic shonen. But how will he efficiently work with his environment? i just know it's gonna be good and worth the wait.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Rudo's harrowing descent and first encounter with Enjin in Episode 2, this third installment pivots from pure survival into integration—Rudo begins finding his footing among the Cleaners and meeting the people who will define his journey. It directly sets up Episode 4's deeper dive into Cleaner HQ and organizational lore, making it a critical bridge between Rudo's origin shock and his purposeful training arc across the first quarter of this 24-episode season.
