The creature designs are genuinely unsettling. They feel like a perfect extension of the discarded theme. Watching Rudo realize he’s no longer at the top of the food chain while trying to keep his composure is pure tension. The art style is carrying so hard right now.

Enjin is so dang fine. I'm willing to watch just for him. The power system has a unique flavor that allows us to learn about a character just by understanding their Jinki. The anime doesn't shy away from dark topics as Rudo's mindless ventures for his revenge starts.

This episode showed Rudo in a strong way, and his character reveal felt powerful, showing how dominant he is. The scene where he bites the finger was brutal and intense, it felt very dangerous. The animation style was creative and added more impact.

I genuinely feel so bad for Rudo. He didn't even have time to process and grive, he was immediately placed into a situation where he was unable to. He's still a kid, which sometimes I even tend to forgot but at the end of the day, no kid should ever went through what he did. A new character was introduced in this episode, and well he's hilarious but I don't really agree with his method though with his treatment towards Rudo...

The new location setting feels hostile and unfamiliar. You can feel Rudo’s confusion and anger clashing together. The soundtrack hyped the action scene. And that power he has, jaw-dropping.

Ooh! I love that it's not holding back with graphic scenes. And I hope they really won't because it makes it more interesting. I was locked in because of Enjin (also the reason why i finally watched this lmfao)

I like how the monsters are made out of trash, their faces look like skull heads from animals. In this episode we get to meet Enjin, I love characters with personalities like him.

The tension does not let up from the previous episode. I love how oppressive the entire atmosphere is, and you could feel a fraction of Rudo's rage consuming him. There's a lot of things I'm looking forward already!

The art style is stunning, even from the first episode. It’s absolutely worth watching, and I understand why so many people were excited for its release.

Great follow up to the 1st episode with more of the world and its beasts introduced in an action packed episode filled with insane animation.

We get an terrifying introduction to new giant monsters, a character, and the world. The episode further highlights the divide, fueling the MC's drive and how he'll navigate the world. But it's nothing he can't handle, he gave us a good show and it's hella satisfying.

An introduction of the worlds- underworld and Givers! I really love the concept of Givers, the fact that we already know how much Rudo love trash and take care of the glove! Damn his power gonna be OP!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the premiere's devastating setup — Rudo's false accusation and exile into the Pit — episode two transitions from origin story to active survival narrative, establishing the rules and dangers of the world below. Key character introductions here, particularly Enjin, lay critical groundwork for alliances and power dynamics that will drive the early stretch of this 24-episode run. This is the bridge between Rudo's fall and whatever he's going to become.
