Nono appears to Chu Zi Hang, whispering reassurances, framing his suffering as a dream. Her playful demeanor hides a grim purpose as she speaks of past protection and promises a future that feels, even to her, impossible. The butterfly knife, a symbol of their bond, is central to this fragile illusion.

Her demeanor shifts; no longer merely comforting, Nono reveals her true identity as Jörmungandr. She pledges a future together, a life of shared experiences, while slowly, purposefully, embedding the glowing butterfly knife into her own chest. Her red glove, stained with blood, then vanishes, exposing the skin of her hand.

Nono screams, the glowing knife now fully absorbed into her chest, her red glove dissipating into light. Chu Zi Hang collapses in agony as she bestows upon him her power, a golden, heart-shaped symbol appearing on his forehead before she fades away, a single tear marking her final, sorrowful departure. He stands, scaled and bloody, now carrying the weight of her choice.

With Nono gone, Chu Zi Hang secures a mysterious box to his back, telling Lu Ming Fei they must leave. Lu Ming Fei's concern for Chu Zi Hang's scaled body is brushed aside. Then a guttural roar shakes them; the dragon, Helheim, awakened by consuming its twin, rises, surrounded by a swarm of smaller draconic creatures.

Above ground, the Nibelungen realm has opened, unleashing creatures. Caesar arrives, calmly takes charge, and dismisses the building manager's pleas to protect him. He strides into the creature-infested building, unsheathing his glowing sword, ready to confront the chaos directly.

Nono, in a restroom, speaks into an earpiece, her concern for Lu Ming Fei evident. She displays surprising combat prowess, slashing through creatures with a sword. Caesar contacts her, worried about her lack of incantations, but she dismisses his concerns, defiantly stating that 'trash' doesn't require such power.

Caesar unleashes his full power, transforming with glowing eyes and wielding a staff-blade that crackles with blue lightning. He discusses his plan with an 'other self,' revealing he intends to become bait, using his fiery elemental weapon to draw the creatures away. He delivers the weapon to his other self, then allows himself to be swarmed, only to unleash a devastating attack, manifesting a red scythe.

Back with Chu Zi Hang and Lu Ming Fei, their escape route is blocked by a stopped train. Chu Zi Hang insists Lu Ming Fei escape alone, telling him to 'live' and 'protect the one you love.' He shoves Lu Ming Fei onto the train, triggering a massive explosion behind them.

But Lu Ming Fei refuses. He screams, angry and distraught, about being underestimated, about everyone viewing his life as a tragedy. He declares his strength in desperate situations and leaps from the moving train, unwilling to abandon his mentor. Chu Zi Hang falls, scales erupting, transforming fully into a dragon.

With Chu Zi Hang now a full-fledged dragon unleashing devastating fire, Lu Ming Fei undergoes his own powerful transformation. Wielding twin glowing swords, he confronts the remaining draconic threats. He unleashes bursts of purple energy, annihilating creatures, demonstrating absolute dominion, emerging triumphant as a new Dragon King. He stands, a figure of both victory and profound sorrow.
