The animation quality and the attention to detail is lovely to see. Those elements combined with a well-written story make for a really smooth watching experience.

I loveeee how funny the character dynamics are. And I love a good interesting food so this whole premise is my dream come true.

Going in with no knowledge of the show led to a nice, cosy surprise at how well-paced and visually appealing it looked. It offered a breath of fresh air with the concept of eating monsters, and the bonus of it being surprisingly creative and detailed when it came to cooking. The show knows how to deal with it as we switch from Laios and his party almost dying to more comedic bits, whilst still maintaining an air of seriousness.

this might be the most unique premise in anime and it somehow works perfectly. the humor feels natural, the characters are instantly likable, an incredibly strong premiere that immediately distances itself from derivative isekai tropes. the world-building is organically introduced through culinary ecology. laios's neurodivergent coding adds a fascinating layer to standard protagonist characterization.

honestly didn't expect a show about cooking monsters to be this charming. falin getting eaten right at the start was so intense, but the cooking aspects are so cozy. im so happy to see a fantasy show that isn't just recycled isekai slop. bump of chicken doing the soundtrack is just the absolute perfect bonus. trigger's animation makes all the food look incredible too, perfect first episode

laios is one hundred percent on the autism spectrum and i love him for it. cooking a walking mushroom and a scorpion is absolutely unhinged starter bro. this is the exact kind of unique fantasy plot i have been begging for, and senshi is already the goat

We are introduced to cast whose ovjective is to rescue a companion eaten by a dragon. The world-building is very detailed and is not boring. They did a good job in relaying what the the foundation of the story is in a beautiful pace. An exotic cooking anime but still relatable by using modern cooking techniques added by the diverse cast of characters that adds humor and satisfaction through their reaction and conversations.

A knight and his party dive into a dungeon to save a friend… but instead of just fighting monsters, they cook and eat them. It’s funny, weirdly educational, and low-key wholesome

Based on the title, the unique part of this anime is when they start to show you it's not just an action series, but a comedy about food as well. I love how the animation and drawing of the characters are unique and different from the typical anime.

One of my hobbies is cooking while I am start to watch this it gives me Idea how to experiment some dishes. this anime has a combination of adventure and cooking ideas to spice up your passion in cooking it is highly recommended.

The story is good and its quite fascinating and I really feel the hunger while watching this. I like how the story is going on how they want to take their revenge and do some preparation specially on foods on extreme level but still appetizing.
