Having chromed up, David was introduced to Lucy with what was effectively love at first sight. Taking his first steps into the underworld of Night City, David began his rise and descent into the city's underbelly of violence and depravity with some romantic hijinks.

For the first time, it feels like he might actually make it in this city. David’s finally hitting the streets to test his new chrome.

David leveling up already?! The tension, the style, the vibes everything just clicks. This ep pulls you deeper into the madness fast.

LUCY'S INTRODUCTION! and continuation of David’s lowest point. Tbh, the moon scene really amazed me, especially with that bgm... It felt like the start of something new. Also the, “It’s other people’s dreams, not yours” hits me bro... This eps really talk about David's beginning.

Watching David push that Sandevistan to the limit is stressful, those nosebleeds are no joke. But then Lucy shows up and the neon train ride through Night City? wow! You can tell things are about to get way more complicated for our boy.

Re-watching again, why would anyone skip this, this is literally the next Akira, with no filter. 10/10
