Episode Context

Landing at episode 14 of 50, this is firmly mid-early-season territory, the ensemble is established, but the deeper threads of Megumi's quest to reclaim her original identity are still being woven into place. Following the Osaka-set events of the previous episode, this installment refocuses on Megumi's immediate social world and the complicated push-pull of her relationships, adding small but meaningful layers to where things are headed. It sets the stage for the romantic and identity-driven tension that will define the show's longer second quarter.
