(Covers ch 2-4 of the manga) It actually skipped a big chunk of ch 2 and immediately skipped to ch 3. There's still that odd chain CGI 👀 and Shushu's fight scene was extended. The animation of the fight is quite good and thankfully the partial transformation wasn't CGI. They added the Street Fighter videogame in the anime, the manga doesn't mention any Street Fighter. The scene at the end isn't on ch 4. I still prefer the expression in the manga because they looked more expressive and feminine. If l based it on the perspective of anime only watcher, then perhaps it's still good especially the mini segment after the ED.

Shushu and Yuuki duo is so funny! Seeing Shushu's power on detail makes more sense to me. The side character screen time with the Mc is a right choice! All I can say for this episode is...... sniff sniff!

Yuuki officially moves into the 7th Unit dorms and realizes he’s basically the group’s maid. He is bulding a harem and reward trope is quite funny as well as fanservicey

I like the bond between Mr.Caretaker and Shushu because they are so funny and it made me laugh a lot.

Power mechanics get clearer and the contract system feels more layered than expected. The balance between danger and dominance shifts constantly. Yuuki starts proving he’s more than just a bystander. Momentum building fast.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Directly following Yuuki's recruitment into the 7th Unit in the premiere, this episode handles the necessary integration phase — establishing his role, his relationships with unit members like Shushu, and the baseline dynamics that will carry the season. The introduction of an external threat signals the transition from pure setup into the action-driven conflicts that will define the coming episodes, laying groundwork for escalating encounters and deeper character bonds throughout the twelve-episode run.
