I love how they are showcasing the different playstyles of the top ranked players, and the friction between everyone trying to stand out makes the match feel so intense. The pacing in this episode is good.

This ep felt less like soccer and more like getting hunted. Karasu absolutely dismantling Isagi mentally was brutal to watch, and Team A’s chemistry was a total trainwreck in the best way possible. I loved how tense every possession felt once Otoya started moving.

Animation feels rough with heavy “PNG” moments, but the mind games carry the episode. Karasu and Otoya shine as a deadly duo, while Isagi adapts under pressure. Less flashy, more psychological still engaging despite visual issues.

The start of PNG lock... It becomes much more apparent now that it's during a game. Sliding pngs across the screen and overuse of effects to fake movement. it's pretty disappointing... On the brightside, Karasu is pretty cool

That was literally Seven Deadly Frames level animation. Yeah, there were cool shots, but if I wanna see cool shots I'll read the manga or look up fanart, they didn't even dribble the ball and the game is more than halfway gone already

otoya and karasu are such a lethal duo to watch. i loved the part where karasu was using his hands to block isagi's vision while otoya just vanished into the blind spot like a total ghost. seeing isagi's face when he realized he was being hunted from both sides was so intense.

This episode leans heavily into mind games. It’s less about flashy goals and more about reading opponents. You really start seeing who adapts and who panics under pressure.

Mahn... compared to S1 animation, this seasons animation has dwindled.
Different playstyles popping off, the episode staying readable even when the tactics get spicy, backed by the fast pacing the episode is running on.
It is very interesting

The tension in this episode just comes from Isagi trying to balance supporting monsters while still being the center of it all, with his own plays, and getting shut down anyway.

The Third Selection begins. Graphics introduce the "Top 6" with vibrant auras. Suspense rises as Isagi struggles to make an impact against the speed of Chigiri and the skill of Karasu
