it was so stressful when noba used his teleporting powers to split up the twins because i was starting to think ichigo was actually going to drown inside that water ball

uryu leaving the group just because he lost his powers is so dramatic and it feels like he is just making things harder for ichigo and the others

Uryu, my man, that decision to ditch the group and face the Bounts by himself just makes no sense to me. He still hasn't even gotten his powers back, and I can't help but wonder if his stubborn pride is going to get him into an even deeper mess than he already thinks he's in.

Ichigo finally figured out that the twins need to stay together and watching that water doll get dismantled once they were separated was the only good part of this fight

ganju using fireworks to blow up those water dolls was actually pretty cool and it was a nice change to see someone besides ichigo get the final hit

that glimpse of the bount leadership at the end was a decent cliffhanger and i hope the fights get better than just dealing with water orbs every single week

kariya looks like he might actually be a decent villain so maybe the rest of this filler arc will start picking up speed now that the twins are gone

I actually liked seeing the mod souls finally do something because usually they just feel like filler characters that don't do much, but noba really saved the day here. It was frustrating watching uryu walk away from his friends like that though. He is clearly hurting about his powers but leaving the group alone seems like a bad idea

this bount arc is taking way too long to get anywhere and the way uryu is acting makes me want to just skip to the next canon arc already

Hanataro and Ganju showing up was such a random twist but they actually helped end that fight with the twins before it got too repetitive

Those filler villains were really testing my patience; I found myself just wishing the actual plot would move forward already. Even so, the way those water dolls moved, it totally gave me chills – I wasn't expecting them to be genuinely creepy like that.

The water dolls were actually pretty terrifying since they were attacking everyone from the inside, but noba saved them just in time by separating those twins

noba literally carried everyone on his back today and it was so weird seeing the mod souls actually be useful instead of just being annoying comic relief for once

Separating the twins to break their resonance was a smart move and Noba was the perfect person for the job. It is rare to see mod souls actually contribute something vital

This episode felt like it was dragging because you can tell it is filler. Even with Ganju returning it still feels like the story is moving at a snail pace

Kariya standing there with that huge crowd of bounts at the end looked pretty intimidating. It feels like the scale of this threat is getting way bigger than the previous skirmishes

I have mixed feelings about this whole arc but seeing Ishida struggle with his lack of powers is really hitting home and I hate seeing him feel so useless when the Bounts keep targeting him specifically. It was also cool to see Noba actually do something useful for once by separating the twins and letting Ganju land that final blow

The way the twin bounts lost because they could not stay close to each other was a clever weakness. It proves the group is finally learning how to handle these doll users

Ganju coming out of nowhere to help finish off Ho and Ban made me laugh because he has the most random timing. My heart sank seeing Ishida walk away alone though

Ishida leaving the group because he feels like a burden is honestly sad, especially since his Quincy pride is clearly hurting right now

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly from the hospital ambush in the previous episode, this installment deepens the conflict between Ichigo's group and the increasingly organized Bounts. It serves as a bridge within the anime-original Bount arc, maintaining combat-driven tension before the next episode shifts gears to explore the Bounts' history and motivations. Sitting at episode 73 of 366, this is squarely in Bleach's first major filler stretch, positioned between the Soul Society arc and eventual return to canon material.
