Ginjo stopping the fight because it was too early for Ichigo to face Tsukishima really shows how much of a threat that guy actually is

The music felt way too intense for a fight that ended with Ginjo having to bail Ichigo out because he was acting like a total rookie again

I love how his new form basically mimics his old bankai look because it feels like his real soul reaper self is finally surfacing again after all that training but the heavy music was definitely a bit much for such a small scale fight in that dollhouse and seeing his power flicker when he got mad about Orihime was intense

I really hated how fast Ichigo mastered everything in one go, but his new outfit looks enough like his shinigami robes that I can ignore it

Yukio pulling out that video game world and trapping everyone inside felt so different from anything else in the show and it definitely surprised me to see a game boy being used like that

The sword being fused to his arm looks just like his final getsugatenshou form and that design choice is actually amazing

The pacing in this arc is still dragging a bit but that clad type fullbring activation made this episode feel like things are starting to move forward for Ichigo again

I think Ichigo looks so sick with that new clad-type look and it reminds me of his old bankai robes but even cooler

I really didn't expect Ichigo to lose his cool like that once he found out Tsukishima was the one who hurt Orihime, and the way his power started flickering felt like a major turning point

Tsukishima was basically doing Ginjos job for him by pushing Ichigo that hard and making him learn bringer light on the spot while they were swinging at each other

That apocalyptic music they kept playing felt way too heavy for a fight in a fish tank and it distracted from the action since the stakes didnt feel that big

Tsukishima doesn't even feel like a full villain yet because he acts more like he is trying to train Ichigo than actually kill him

That moment where the fullbring started flickering because Ichigo got too angry showed how unstable his power still is compared to his soul reaper days

Tsukishima just standing there dodging every single move with that smug face made it so clear that Ichigo still has a long way to go before he can actually win

Yukio trapping everyone inside a game with Invaders Must Die is such a bizarre ability for this show but it actually looks pretty interesting

Ginjo is acting way too suspicious with how he keeps jumping into the middle of everything and talking to Chad behind Ichigos back so his motives seem totally off right now

Watching Ichigo adapt his fighting style mid-battle is always the best, and seeing him finally nail the fullbring form felt like he was finally becoming himself again after losing his powers
hanzaki_hero's avatar
hanzaki_hero
I love that Ichigo is finally wearing his power again because it feels like his real self is coming back and the way he just picked up Bringer Light while dodging is exactly how he used to fight but man the pacing is still a little weird and Yukio showing up with a literal video game box to end the fight was crazy

Ichigo finally getting that clad type armor looked so sick and having it flicker like his old shinigami robes was the highlight of the whole thing

It felt like Tsukishima was just playing a game with Ichigo because he was parrying every single strike without showing any real intent to actually win the fight

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 353 lands deep in the Fullbring arc's escalation phase, directly following Tsukishima's disruptive attack on Ichigo's training and channeling that chaos into a confrontation that tests Ichigo's rapidly developing powers. It serves as a pivotal bridge episode, crystallizing the trust and betrayal dynamics that define this arc's identity. The stage is set for the next episode's Ichigo vs. Ginjō clash, making this essential viewing for understanding the allegiances about to fracture.
