The zanpakuto stuff was actually getting good, and now we have to deal with these weird sword beasts instead. Seeing Byakuya get that mad because his house literally fell down was the only fun part, because the rest of the plot feels so rushed. I really hope the writing gets better, but this whole thing feels like it was made overnight

But then, to witness Rukia and Sode no Shirayuki finally achieve that deep, complete understanding felt like such a monumental moment, like all their struggles since the very beginning finally led to this beautiful harmony.
