WHY did their faces change every few frames. That one picture of Rhya close up was way too funny. I wonder if Asta's anti-magic can actually help dispel everything! Rill's magic has also turned into full-blown monsters in contrast to his usual simple elemental spells..

Mereolena's decision at the end really caught me off guard! Her strong, independent tough love for her subordinates is so endearing.. she really does all in her power. Her battle with 2 captain-level mages is gonna be so hard though! We've yet to see her struggle in any battle.

The animation took me out 💔 that super saiyan ahh ring around all the elves was moving so funny, it was so noticeable when they were all standing still

Fuegoleon finally opening his eyes was a huge moment for me, especially seeing Salamander just chilling behind him like 'yeah, we're back!' I've been counting down the days for his return ever since the capital invasion, and it felt so satisfying to see him ready to kick some serious butt again.

the animation was kind of rough in spots, especially those weird cgi chains on asta, but my excitement for fuegoleon waking up made me forget about the jank. i really missed petit clover because the vibe was heavy with everyone fighting their friends, and seeing gueldre and revchi team up was the weirdest part of the week.

you can really feel how doomed the kingdom is and the episode title is not lying when even the strongest captains are getting pushed back

Woah, when that lady just casually grabbed Asta and Zora to yeet them out of the way, I legit gasped. She was *not* messing around, instantly taking on all those elves solo like it was nothing.

i actually screamed when fuegoleon showed up with salamander and that fire arm looked so cool incinerating randall

I felt like seeing Asta hit that elf and nothing happened was actually terrifying because his swords were the only hope left and now everyone is basically screwed

I honestly thought Asta would just hit them with the sword and fix everything like he usually does, so seeing his anti-magic fail against the reincarnation spell was a total gut punch. It makes the stakes feel so much higher now that his main trick is useless. But then Fuegoleon waking up with Salamander totally saved the mood for me

The CGI chains were a bit distracting during the chaos, but seeing Charlotte turn on Yami like that was a huge blow to the morale of the knights

Everything feels so hopeless right now with the kingdom getting torn apart by their own people, but seeing Yami still standing tall against Charlotte was definitely the highlight for me, I hate seeing them fight each other but his dark magic looked amazing when he clashed with her roses and it gives me a little bit of hope that they can actually win

The animation was a bit of a mixed bag tonight with those weird CGI chains, but the soundtrack when the Fire Spirit appeared made the whole scene feel massive

Zora telling everyone to run away was a smart call, especially since Rill is out here using four different types of magic at the same time and making everyone look weak

My stomach dropped seeing the amount of possessed knights appearing and it feels like the humans are just completely outmatched
