Didn't expect Grey and Gordon to be able to shout. All the Black Bulls' members are unique in their own sense, with such OP abilities too. The cliffhanger was insane though??

This episode was okay. Sally and Rades' appearances feel really impromptu though. They literally came out of nowhere.. I guess it's good for reaffirming that no one is safe from the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

Watching the dynamic between Gordon, Grey and Gauche wasn't all that bad! Turns out the sister-con can be quite fun to watch as well.; and even have great conversation. I wish Gordon would get some sort of spotlight though! I feel so bad for him.

I always thought Gordon was just there for a joke but hearing him actually speak up while using that poison magic to protect the base was a great scene

Rades and Sally picked the worst time to attack since Gordon and Grey were ready to die for that house and their magic combo made that defense really fun

Seeing Gordon actually yell at those invaders instead of mumbling was such a huge moment for his character. It shows how much he loves his squad

I finally understand why Gordon is always whispering. His family history is actually so sad. Seeing him scream to protect his home was huge

Sally is still the most annoying villain but seeing the hideout turn into a mech to shut her up was a total surprise that made the whole invasion arc worth it

You can really see how much Grey has grown when she stops hiding and starts screaming at Rades to stay away from her home and that magic recombination looked incredible

I really felt for Henry when he talked about his family ditching him because of his condition, and it made the Black Bulls' bond seem even stronger. Seeing Grey and Gordon finally step up alongside Gauche to protect their home was everything, especially since they usually stay in the background. The way they care for each other defines the hideout itself

Watching the base turn into a literal weapon thanks to Henry was the coolest thing and it totally explains why Yami has been letting a ghost live in the attic for years

The way Rades and Sally just showed up while the heavy hitters were gone felt like such a cheap shot but watching the weirdest members fight for their home was better

It is about time Gordon actually spoke up and defended his home and seeing him finally get some real respect for his magic during that invasion was so satisfying

Henry being a noble who was abandoned makes so much sense for this team and his recombination magic is such a creative way to use a setting as a weapon

Licht ordering his team not to touch Gauche is the biggest mystery of the episode, and it makes his mirror magic seem way more important than just protecting Marie

Henry Legolant being under their noses the entire time explains so much about the moving walls and his magic makes the house look like a beast

I really felt for Grey when she was talking about using her magic to hide because she hates how she looks and it explains why she is always so shy around everyone but seeing her and Gordon find their voices to protect their home from Sally and Rades was the best part because they finally found a place that accepts them for who they are

Gordon actually yelling at the top of his lungs about his friends was a massive deal considering how lonely his childhood was with all that poison and curse magic stuff

The Raging Black Bull is a ridiculous idea, but it somehow works perfectly for this squad and how chaotic their hideout has always been since the start

Watching the base transform into a giant raging bull was the coolest thing because nobody expected the house to literally get up and fight those eye of the midnight sun losers

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 89 runs parallel to the Royal Knights' offensive against the Eye of the Midnight Sun, splitting the narrative to show that the enemy isn't just playing defense — they're striking back at the same time. The previous episode launched the assault on the Midnight Sun's base, and this installment reveals the coordinated counterattack targeting the now-vulnerable Black Bulls' hideout. It directly sets up Episode 90, 'Crazy Magic Battle,' where the defense of the base escalates further.
