The most important scenes within this episode were the ones with the elves (their flashback) and all. I wonder why Licht's wife looks like Mimosa though??

A majority of this episode was geared towards setting up everything for a larger conflict. The show has built so much anticipation for the main confrontation with the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

That half-robe Asta was wearing looked so stupidly small and it was such a funny callback to how Yami always dresses differently than the other captains

Zora being part of the Black Bulls was so obvious from the start and seeing him finally put on that black robe is going to make the squad much more interesting

I felt so bad seeing Finral stuck in bed while everyone else gets their cool new robes and he definitely would have made the team if he was healthy

Yami knowing Zora was actually a decent guy the whole time made me smile and it was great seeing him finally put on that Black Bulls robe

I can't believe Zora has been a Black Bull this whole time and Yami just forgot to mention it or something because that is such a Yami move to pull

I knew Zora had that Black Bull energy from the start and seeing Yami just hand him that robe felt so right

Seeing Mereoleona grab Asta and Yami by their heads just to get them to shut up was the best way to start the mission

The whole lineup for the Royal Knights looks great, but leaving Magna behind after everything he did in the exam feels like a huge mistake

Briefly seeing Fana and Vetto in that memory makes you realize how much history there is between the elves and the humans that we still do not know

En getting onto the Royal Knights over Magna feels wrong and hopefully there is a good reason to see what he can actually do soon

Asta looks so ridiculous in that tiny robe and I know they said they ran out of fabric but it makes him look like a total dork

I seriously can't get over how fast this episode went by because it felt like five minutes and then it was just over. Seeing Zora show up in the Black Bull gear was the highlight for me, but I'm still incredibly bummed that Magna didn't make the team. He deserved that spot way more than some of the others

Zora being an official Black Bull was the twist of the century and his dynamic with the rest of the group is going to be pure chaos

Nozel just walking onto the team without even taking the exam is such a captain move, but at least you get to see him actually fight alongside the rookies

Luck and Noelle making the cut was obvious but seeing them all lined up in those new uniforms makes the whole situation feel way more real
