City Under Attack
The city burns with an impossible yellow fire, a towering Giant Chicken Monster its ridiculous architect. Ako, a chibi voice of urgent reason in a speech bubble, shrieks her concerns. "對健康不好," she declares, a strangely mundane observation amidst the chaos. She calls her team, pressing for an immediate transformation; they have barely a minute.
The Urgent Summons
The screen fragments, revealing the magical girls receiving their summons. Lisa in a classroom, Sayo on a train, and Kanon also in transit, all look bewildered, clutching their magical items. Their murmured acknowledgments are swift, a collective resignation to their sudden duties.
Hasty Commute
A flash of light, a montage of transformation sequences. Lisa, Kanon, and Sayo don their elaborate magical girl outfits with practiced ease. Yet, the next moment finds them uncomfortably standing in an anime train car, their vibrant costumes clashing with the drab anonymity of obscured commuters. They are heroes, but still subject to public transport.
Sayo's Scandal
Kanon arrives, staff in hand, apologizing for her own delay. Then, the true crisis: Sayo stands in her school uniform, utterly untransformed. Ako and Kanon stare in disbelief as Sayo confesses her costume is at the dry cleaners. Ako scoffs, producing the garment with no tag, revealing Sayo's true reason: she simply couldn't bear to ride the train in such a flashy outfit. Ako delivers a sarcastic apology and sends Sayo off to change.
The Cardboard Compromise
Sayo returns, finally transformed, but not entirely. Her upper half is in full magical girl regalia, complete with guitar, but a simple cardboard box covers her lower body. She looks mortified. Ako, ever practical, suggests they skip formalities and go straight for the finishing move.
Cucumber Power-Up
Ako is shocked to realize Kanon is still missing, and a mere seventeen seconds remain before some unseen deadline. With no time for proper strategy, Ako thrusts two cucumbers into Sayo's hands, instructing her to "Power Up." Sayo questions the peculiar vegetable, but Ako insists on the health benefits, a callback to the monster's earlier pronouncement. Both Kanon and Sayo obediently munch, then glow with determination as their transformation completes.
The Punishment Kick
A dazzling flash of light envelops the screen, followed by an explosion of energy trails. The magical girls, now a unified green blob of power, unleash a "Punishment Kick." Kanon and Sayo, flying in perfect synchronicity, strike the Giant Chicken Monster with a laser-like green energy. The monster cries out, sent hurtling away. Ako appears disoriented, questioning her location, a moment of odd detachment post-victory.
Post-Battle Antics
The chaos subsides, and the episode transitions into its spirited opening and ending credit sequences. Chibi versions of the Bang Dream! characters fill the screen, engaged in various whimsical activities, from eating ramen to exploring fantasy landscapes. They smile, wave, and fly, their adventures now shifting from monster battles to the joyful, vibrant world of their musical group. The final image is a grateful "Thank you for watching!"
