God bless Armin 🙌🏻 I love him so much. Pains me to see him think so little of himself when no one else does but glad to see him start to take more pride in himself and realise he isn't just someone being left behind. He is a valued member of the trio

The tension comes from internal conflict rather than combat, emphasizing fear and uncertainty within the ranks.

A dialogue-heavy episode focused on hesitation and trust-building under pressure. Important narratively, but slower in momentum.

More focused on choices and trust. It builds suspense through dialogue rather than action, but still keeps you invested with high stakes.

I think that scene being revealed last episode made a big impact on this episode. I think it cause tension and fear. And the trust is now shakable

I’m really happy with how this episode turned out.I loved seeing Armin start to recognize his own worth because it was frustrating watching him constantly doubt himself when his strategic thinking is so natural.Still, I can’t help but be annoyed with the captain with the eyebags

This episode incredibly shows that humans can be more frightening than monsters and how panic can spread faster than any titan. Besides this, i like how Armin is trusted as a voice of reason and Eren's has somehow changed with the power he has gotten.

Love how they kinda focused on Eren's goal here. To reach the basement. A probably important key factor for future references and seasons of this anime? Anime succeeded to piss me of to that one character. What a coward! The background music made Armin's scene better! Goosebumps!

There was so much sweat on my face when Armin gave that huge salute and I really thought they were going to get blasted before Pixis showed up

You can really feel the panic in the air when those soldiers were pointing rifles at kids and Kitz is a terrible leader for letting his terror dictate his orders like that

That incomplete titan skeleton protecting them from the cannon was so gross and cool at the same time and those little flowers staying alive inside the steam was such a weird visual touch

The tension while Armin was saluting and waiting for the cannons to fire was almost too much and you could tell how much weight he was carrying on his shoulders

I used to think Armin was just the dead weight of the group but seeing him stand up to those cannons and scream about Eren being humanity's weapon totally changed my mind about him

Commander Pyxis is a legend for just casually drinking from a flask while talking about titans eating him and he is the only one in the military with any actual brains

I felt relieved when Dot Pyxis showed up because he is so weird and his joke about being eaten by a sexy lady titan made the whole situation feel less stressful

Eren promising to plug the hole with a massive rock sounds impossible but his eye contact with Pyxis showed he was dead serious about helping the survivors in Trost

That whole speech from Armin was so intense and the voice acting really sold how terrified he was while still trying to be smart about the situation and then Pyxis shows up out of nowhere with his flask and just completely changes the energy which was great because I really thought they were about to get blown up by that crazy captain

I really appreciated how Dot Pyxis treated Eren like a human being instead of a monster, and his calm energy changed the entire mood of the standoff on the wall

That flashback to the kids talking about the sea was a nice break from all the yelling and it made Armin stepping up to the cannons feel so much more meaningful

Pyxis drinking from a flask on top of the wall while talking about man eating titans is such a strange sight and he seems like exactly the kind of leader they need right now

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the midpoint of the Battle for Trost, episode 10 serves as a critical bridge between the shock of Eren's revealed abilities and the strategic decisions that will define the arc's climax. The preceding episodes delivered relentless action and a paradigm-shifting twist; this one forces characters and viewers alike to reckon with what that twist means. It directly sets up the tactical gambit that will drive the final phase of the Trost operation.
