This episode felt heavy and emotional. The idea of sacrifice was strong, and the scenes had a serious tone. It shows how far the characters are willing to go.

The pace is really rushed and completely blitzes through the last episodes. While the Samurai Troopers level up their fighting skills, a tragic and inevitable fight comes up immediately after.

Epic! Conflicts hint at bigger threats as the story unfolds. Characters feel more defined, fights are thrilling, and the soundtrack hits perfectly . Sets up the next phase, leaving viewers eager for what’s coming next! 🔥

Another of those hideous monsters for those troopers to fight against. Though it was very engaging, the pacing and the animation style just feels doesn't disappoint honestly.

That was just cruel to show us all that and then leave us on a cliff hanger, on whether or not they save Mirei. I do hope they save her Awesome episode though, it got a bit emotional.

The story could've been good if they had just slowed down and let things sit. One moment we follow the troupe in training and the next they are fighting another comrade. Also how did she not notice herself transforming..

Didn't quite get why they followed Gai's dad's instructions? and what did they expect from him. Anyways the episode was okay. The portal thingy was kind of interesting but wrapped up way too fast with the power of music

Such a sad cliffhanger; I feel like the pacing has gotten a little better, but it still remains a little convoluted. Mirei was one of the characters I liked, and her character exposition was way too short. They just decided to fight her so easily like what

WORSE EPISODE TO DATE. It was so bad, I was questioning my community mid episode if I was going crazy as I could not event follow the conversation or flow of the plot. The transformation of girl character I cannot remember the name of was insanely well done though.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'Outbreak,' where Mirei exposed a dangerous internal threat as Ramaga's deadline closed in, this episode weaponizes that vulnerability by putting her directly in Ramaga's hands, raising the personal stakes to their season peak. It marks the moment the conflict shifts from tactical to emotionally devastating, forcing the Troopers into a fight that is as much about grief and loyalty as combat. The unresolved cliffhanger feeds directly into 'Return,' where the team channels this crisis into a charged, vengeance-driven confrontation with the demon emperor.
