Another great episode! I enjoyed the whole 'going on an adventure' vibe with the team. We got some action happening along with non stop banter that keeps the mood light. Kija struggling being outside for the first time is genuinely so entertaining lol

The episode introduces us to an addition to Yona's team. I love the heartwarming vibes we get from this episode and the characters in it. The comedy aspect of the series shines in this episode, had me giggling with the banter between the team.

It's great that we get to see Princess Yona facing the world outside of the walls of her castle. Love how she is developing as a character slowly but surely, learning bit by bit.

This was so bittersweet in the best way. The episode puts the spotlight on Yoon and Iksoo's backstory and it delivereddddd. I was crying half the episode because of how heartwarming it is. It's great to see that almost all the characters in the show have their own story to tell that blends well with the main plot and main characters. Love the writing of this show!

This was more of a lore drop episode, we get to learn about some important backstory to the whole plot. The pacing was a little slow but it goes well with the whole storytelling. With new quests to tackle, Yona further develops her character into someone stronger and I am rootingg for her!

A quite emotional episode for me. The episode’s taken a nostalgic and somber tone, with flashbacks that makes you question Suwon’s true feelings about all of this. The whole sequence leading up to what happened to Hak and Yona had me on the edge of my seat. Can’t wait to see what happens to them

Episode 1 of Yona of the Dawn is emotional, beautiful and full of surprises. Yona’s peaceful royal life changes in a heartbreaking moment, pushing her into a dangerous new reality, allowing her to become stronger. The episode mixes romance, betrayal, and adventure perfectly, making you curious to see how Yona grows through her journey and how she handles the abrupt shift in her life.

We finally get to see some action and it is quite epic!! Seeing Hak in action was as impressive as everyone made it out to be. We also get to a turning point for Yona, my girl shineess. Though, MVP for this episode is Hak, seriously. Hak and Yona’s chemistry really made this episode special. Despite any situation given to them, they always find a way to tease each other loll

Tensions in this episode are high. Although we do get a lighter tone and vibe here and there throughout the ep, we are made to feel on edge as if something big might happen. Love that we get to see a lot of Hak🥰

Another slow paced episode, which highlighted some flashbacks, giving a little more depth to the characters and story. One thing i absolutely love, is the consistency in colours given to represent the characters. You get to see how their outfits change through time yet maintain the same colour and vibe.

The pacing was a bit slower this time, showcasing a more emotional side of the story. Honestly the soundtrack really pulled everything together, and the chemistry between the characters were top notch, especially Hak and Yona😭

Such an incredible opener for the series. It sets a bright and exciting tone to the series, which pairs really well with Yona as main character. Though towards the end, everything is not as it seems. Super interesting!

A great send-off finale that allows us to speculate further into the plot. I love the layers of emotional turmoil present in this episode, as well as questioning Yona's next steps now that a part of her goal has been reached. There's a lot of to look forward to.

So much emotion and feels as we draw closer to the last episode! Much of Yona's well-deserved emotional releases happen here, and we even get a glimpse of what might await us next regarding Su-Won.

This episode really feels like the climax of Yona's entire journey from being a sheltered princess! The intensity of the action really stays with you even up to the end.

The episode title feels so appropriate for what's about to come! Yona and Yun sets the stage but things keep stacking against them. The tension is greatly layered and you could feel how desperate the situation is about to be. Can't wait to see more!

A little calm before the storm type of episode here, but one that sets the bar even higher for the Captain's plan. The tension here really is thick with anticipation and I can't wait to see how this is all gonna turn out for everybody and Yona's development!

Anytime Yona gets tested, it just has to go intensely! It really makes you proud of how far Yona has come from the first episode. Emotions are well telegraphed here across the charas, and it promises an intense face off on the next episodes. Hype!

Yona's resolve is getting tested once again, it's been a while so it really got me excited. Loving the contrast as well with Jae-Ha finally saying what had also bothered me about the bonds the dragons have for Yona, and for him to stick to his guns. Can't wait to see what happens
