Shinako needs to stop visiting that grave and start looking at the people who are actually standing right in front of her

My heart actually hurts for Haru because she is trying so hard to be there for Rikuo, but he is completely stuck on Shinako. It is frustrating to watch him drift through life without any real goals and I just want to shake him. Shinako also needs to figure out her feelings because the past is clearly holding her back from everything.

Minato is incredibly annoying and his attitude is frustrating but he is right about how everyone is just running in circles

Rikuo working at that convenience store is way too relatable for anyone who graduated and had no idea what to do next

I feel so bad for Haru because she is putting in all this work and Rikuo is just standing there like a statue

Shinako just staring into space and thinking about the past is heartbreaking and the art really sells how lonely she feels in that apartment

Haru being happy with just the little moments with Rikuo made me love her even more because she is the only person here not being completely selfish

That scene where Rou got all selfish about her not visiting was such a bad look for him and it makes it so hard to root for him

Watching Shinako get stuck in the past makes the slow pacing feel earned even if it is painful to sit through her grief

Seeing Rou lash out during his confession was tough to watch because it went from a normal talk to something really hurtful so fast. He is so focused on his own burnout and his brother that he does not even see how much Shinako is struggling. I just want her to find some peace without these guys pressuring her all the time.

Rikuo and Rou are both just taking Shinako for granted and it is so frustrating to watch them fight over her while she is clearly still suffering

Haru is the only one keeping me sane right now, her directness is a breath of fresh air compared to all the moping everyone else is doing in this love square.

Rou needs to grow up because that confession was so mean and he has no idea what Shinako is actually going through right now

I really felt for Shinako when she was looking at those old photos because her grief feels so heavy and real and it makes Rou look even more like a brat for how he treats her

My heart broke for Shinako during those silent shots of her just thinking about Yuu and it made me so angry when Rou started acting like he knew what she wanted

i can't believe she lied about the daisies just to get with him and now he has to keep looking for the real girl

that flashback to the locker room really helps explain why he's so obsessed, but finding out it was all a lie felt pretty cold

i'm actually pretty surprised that they went for a fake confession this early in the show, but it makes sense considering how desperate she was to keep him around and seeing him realize that the girl he just slept with isn't actually his secret high school crush was a total gut punch and now my money is on the third girl

using the love letter to trick him into bed is pretty messed up but it definitely makes the drama more interesting

the way she admitted she never wrote that letter after everything they did was such a massive curveball

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly after Episode 3's 'Change of Mind' — which implied a meaningful internal shift for the protagonist — this finale inherits whatever emotional pivot that episode established and pushes it toward a conclusion. As the fourth and final episode of the series, there is no setup for future installments; every narrative thread introduced across the reunion premise must find resolution here. The title 'False Confession' suggests the endgame involves a moment of deliberate or mistaken disclosure, bringing the central mystery of the secret admirer to its close.
