Another hilarious episode, just knowing Nico's up to something absurd already cracks me up. It introduces their chaotic school life, while also delivering emotional depth with their mutual feelings and identity anxiety. A great episode overall, can't wait for more laughs!

A great introduction to their new school life. Of course, with the added antics of her being a witch - and her complete delusions. Loved the references in the show, that was totally funny and done really well. The pacing is a tiny bit slow but I'm not really complaining.

Lol, I really like the references from other anime; these are used to bring comical elements in this episode. Moi and Nico started their high school life. Mischiefs bring out twists in the story process. Hard childhoods stress individuals, yet joy can be found when searched for.

This ep sets a comedic stage! The spring high school setting is a perfect way to introduce an odd and quirky cast who will play off the main characters throughout the series. The funny, self-aware gags and anime references seal the deal!

Witch Watch finds its stride by proving it isn't afraid to break standard tropes—like the "secret identity" plotline—early on in favor of fun. It’s a perfect watch for anyone who loves fast-paced comedy and sharp parodies.

Fun episode showing a diff side of magic along with clear differences between Nico and Morihito

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1 established the core dynamic between Nico and Morihito through her return and their cohabitation setup; this second episode expands their world by planting them firmly in the high school setting that will serve as the series' primary stage. It's an essential early-season foundation episode, introducing the school environment and supporting cast that will drive comedy and character interactions across the remaining twenty-three episodes. The multi-segment structure also signals the show's ongoing sketch-comedy format, setting audience expectations for the season ahead.
