the story of this writer was just so incredibly warm and touching. seeing him heal and inspire people through his writing honestly makes me aspire to be like him one day. its seriously amazing how consistently this anime manages to make me get super emotional every time.

the emotional development of the protagonist is accelerating significantly. transitioning from her first genuine smile in the previous episode to her first authentic tears here marks a critical turning point in her psychological recovery and overall empathetic comprehension.

Seeing how that writer react when he saw her with the parasol was deadass so fucking sad. almost started crying again right there. but watching that scene at the lake was easily one of the craziest visual flexes yet.

Lies not only hurt the one being lied to, it also ends up hurting the liar

Still have your tissue box? Good! This episode has one of the most beautifully animated iconic scenes in the entire anime, so wipe your tears so you can see it properly!

Man all I do on this anime is cry. Easily one of the memorable episodes of this series, hands down. It's exactly like Violet said "It's a fictional story, but I feel like I'm experiencing it myself." And the music just pushes you to tears, I hate it xD

This one is just… heavy. Grief handled with restraint but it wrecks you. Violet starts truly connecting to someone’s pain. Emotional punch without melodrama.

This one hurts. Watching someone try to create while holding onto grief is tough. Violet listens more than she talks here, and that says a lot. 🌊

This episode is where she finds an elder to help him write a letter to his loved one and eventually they both learn about their grief and that elder lost his child who seems like the violet. They both grief for their loss. Great animation ,all the emotions greatly directed.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting just past the midpoint of thirteen episodes, Episode 7 arrives after Violet has begun to genuinely internalize the emotions she encounters through her work as an Auto Memory Doll. This standalone client story represents a critical inflection point in her emotional arc — her capacity for empathy deepens significantly here, laying essential groundwork for the heavier revelations and personal reckonings that define the season's back half.
